More options to sort movies in Library

It would be great to have more options to sort movies in our libraries. Like have them sorted by personal rating, my most watched, and have them sorted by genre but not just showing one genre.

I'm sure others will have good suggestions on this, so fire away.

I second this request! I wished I could have "Sub-Folders" so that I could put all of a movie series into its own folder (aka: Fast & Furious(6 difft movies), Bourne(4 difft movies), Mummy(3+ difft movies)), ect

Yes I agree, custom bundles would be great. I need bundles for:

      Shrek: x4
      Harry Potter x7
      Twilight: x5
      Bourne x4
      Mission Impossible x4
      Spider-Man x3
      MIB x3
      Star Trek x6
      James Bond x9
      Chipmunks x3
      Wimpy Kid x3
      Madagascar x3
      Meet The Parents x3
      Lord of the Rings x4
      Jurassic Park x3
      The Dark Knight x3
      The Matrix x3
      Home Alone x2
      Free Willy x2
      Willy Wonka x2
      Beethoven x2
      Airplane x2
      Transformers x2
      Atlas Shrugged x2
      Kung Fu Panda x2
      Cheaper by the dozen x2
      The Never-ending story x2
      Sherlock Homes x2
      Ice Age x3
      Journey to island x2
      Muppets x3

That would reduce my titles that are displayed by 68 titles. And that doesn't include the custom ones I would make for titles that are related, but not in a series.

It also would be helpful with sequels, which don't have a number, but a title change. Drives me crazy that that A new Nightmare can't be grouped with the rest of the A Nightmare on Elm Street movies.

Hellbound: Hellraiser II is not with Hellraiser I, and when you sort by A to Z it sorts Superman: the movie (part 1) after superman III. So it goes Superman II, Superman III, Superman Returns then Superman I. Of coarse, Man of Steel is way far from the rest, But it's superman they need to be grouped together lol.

All of these wonderful ideas have been previously requested. I will echo my recent sort requests here also in case this thread gets some attention:

I would like to be able to sort movies and TV by:

Date added to Vudu (descending sequence so we can easily find new titles just added today, yesterday, and before)
Date available for D2D (also descending so we can easily check each week or day to see if anything new pops up)
Date available for UltraViolet (also descending so we can see if any old moves are now UV)

I also would like to have the ability to sort and filter based on our personal rating. If we haven't yet rated a movie then it would use the community rating.

Being able to create our own collections is something we've been asking for. Not sure why Vudu doesn't have something in place already since this has been a popular request for at least the last year. My guess is that they don't want to do too much that would require them to store unnecessary data from their point of view. For each account to create collections like we're asking for, they would have to store a cross-reference table and perhaps they feel that storing that data on their system is not necessary for the services they want to provide. Of course we are wanting more from them. We might even be willing to pay a small fee to have such a feature enabled, that is how bad we want it.

Well obviously there is a demand for it, because two other services have created these kinds of features. One has playlists, and the other had cards. Not quite what we want, but at least they are trying. vudu takes it's time when adding new features, so they may be working on something like this, but we just don't know about it yet.

I would love to see either or both of these sort options added...the Rotten Tomatoes ratings seem mostly based on critics reviews and, frankly, movie critics seem to be a bunch of pontificating idiots.
Cases: Paranormal Activity (I recieved for free, will never watch) RT 83% Vudu Community 2.8; Secondhand Lions RT 59% Vudu 4.5; Top Gun RT 55% Vudu 4.2; Underworld RT 31% Vudu 4.4.

If we used an even distribution to make the numbers comprable, a Vudu rating of around 2.2 (lowest community rating I found) appears to be what a 0-2% might be on RT and a 4.7 is a 99-100% which when calculated (2.5 points = 100%) means each 0.1 on the Vudu Communtity rating is equal to 4%. That means Paranormal Activity would be around 24%; Secondhand Lions 92%; Top Gun 80%; Underworld 88%. Using these examples, and many more, I can say I am far more in agreement with the Vudu Community than RT on most movies.

Another problem is the bundled movies are not added into these sorts in any way (they all appear at the bottom of the list). This could be solvedafter adding a Vudu Community sort option by allowing users to rate bundles they own.
