    Re: Fox UV movies

Just wanted to add that I was informed that aliens special edition was removed bc of encoding issues. I was only able to do D2D for the other 3, which is a bit frustrating. I really hope that they correct the encode soon and put it back up for D2D. (the theatrical version is still available, but I love the scene that was added with the drone guns for the special edition)

Just double-checked to make sure I'm not crazy (always a possibility). I bought Alien a while back from Vudu, but it was added to my UV locker on 9/21/2012.

Oh the wonderful nuances of licensing

Whatever, I'm happy to have it now.

That's odd that it took so long for it to show up. It was one of the few Fox titles that's been UV since the beginning of d2d. It's on the d2d list. I took my Alien collection to Walmart months ago to d2d it.

This is good news and i'll probably go ahead and buy the ones i don't have, but i'd still like to see the ones i do own added to D2D, so i can put them on UV for $2 each. Who knows if VUDU will ever add more titles to D2D. If they don't, perhaps another video service will

    Re: Fox UV movies

They added several hundred titles. I found a few major titles that weren't, mostly newer ones, but most of them are UV.

Yea it looks like they only added a few titles to UV. Some of the notable ones i found were:

Rise of the Planet of the Apes
    The Descendants
    Taken (Theatrical)
    Black Swan (SD only)

    Not added:
Limitless, Unstoppable, 127 Hours, Hot Tub Time Machine, Machete

Since Fox already supports D2D, I'm hoping the new Fox UV movies will be get added sooner than say Lionsgate would.

It is nice to finally have Fox titles that are UV enabled from store.

Yes, I noticed the UV logo on a lot of Fox titles, but some that I wished would have it added don't. Still, it's a huge step in the right direction for UV. I do wish they would be added to D2D.
