The ?'s were from copying and pasting from Word. Should have read "PD" and "SD". PD is something we see on our side; it basically tells us you have the rights for "SD".

This is our main redemption page:

      http://www.vudu.com/promotions.html

If the movie is available to redeem on VUDU, it should say on the case.

In some cases you'll see a separate code on the back of the VUDU sticker, or on the inside of the case

The only way to get an HDX version is to either purchase it on the site or take you Blu-Ray Disc down to Walmart for a Disc to Digital transaction for only $2.00. If you have any further questions please contact us.

Once again thank you for contacting VUDU Customer Care and have a great day.

We'll make sure to get him up to date. My apologies.

Which movie were you trying to check on, i'd be happy to take a look at the rights you were given.

We're working to provide HD copies for all digital copies redeemed through VUDU, but this is still a work in progress. If you feel you should have gotten a HD copy on VUDU and didn't, please submit a support ticket or give us a call at (888)554-VUDU. In some cases we may have to do a little research, but should be able to get you an answer
Let me clarify this; we're working to provide HD copies for customers that have purchased Blu-Ray copies. If you buy a DVD, you'll most likely get a SD copy.

Well the one I sent the ticket in for was Wrath of the Titans but while you are at it if you could look into my other Blu-ray redemptions that are in SD on my Vudu account I would appreciate it. Here is the list:

            Wrath of the Titans
            Cowboys and Aliens
            Crazy Stupid Love
            Dolphin Tale
            Green Lantern
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

            Journey 2 The Mysterious Island

I will PM you my account email. Thanks.

I know that SD was given for most of the movies there. The definition is selected by the studio at the time the promotion is created. We've asked to be allowed to provide HD copies going forward; but as i said, it's still a work in progress and in some cases SD may be given.

Re: ATTENTION MODS! WE NEED AN EXPLANTION FOR UV RESOLUTION DIFFERENCES!!!

Yesterday I got SD quality from 'Project X' blu-ray UV code so I contacted Vudu Customer Service like dhatman posted earlier. Vudu Customer Service replied this below so I sent an email to Flixster.

                  "Hello Kev,
Unfortunately, we are unable to change your quality rights for Project X on VUDU. This promotion was redeemed on Flixster, who assigned the rights. You may have luck contacting Flixster customer support or Warner Bros. Support
                  Best Regards,
                  Dan Hatman

Going forward but that doesn't help us... Should be retroactive going back as well

                      Dan,

I tried to submit a ticket to look at several the codes from several Blu-rays that I redeemed today where I received the SD version vs. the HDX version and received the following response:

"Thank you for contacting VUDU customer care. We do not control the definition you receive your promos in. The definition of your promos is determined by the movie company that distributes the movie. We cannot change the definition of the promos. If you have any other questions feel free to call the number below to speak with an agent.
                      Best regards,

I redeemed a UV thru vudu last week and also got HD instead of HDX. I emailed vudu about it and the reply was that they would look into, but there was no time table for when it would be corrected.
