    Confused

I'm a little confused. The digital download copy sheet from the DVD states that with ultraviolet we can instantly stream and download to our computer, tv, tablet, or smartphone. But I come to find out that we don't have access to the movies we buy do this. The only reason I chose the ultraviolet over itunes was not to deal with the DRM of Apple. Am I wrong about this, or did I just waste a digital download?

    Re: Confused

Depends on the movie. A lot of movies allow both, UV and iTunes copy to be redeemed. Open iTunes and go to the Store and then select the "redeem code" option.

The Flixster app will allow you to download or stream movies to your tablet or smartphone and vudu will stream to tv.

Vudu streams fine to iDevices, as well. Also many blu-ray players, TVs, and set-top boxes. As far as downloading a copy goes, that is limited to PC and a few other TV-related devices. The files still have DRM, but it is multi-format and supposed to allow playback on a wider range of devices (which is definitely true fro streaming). If you want to download to an iDevice, link a Flixster account to uvvu.com, and use its download function.
