    I still think this is most likely a studio -> UV problem. Early on, UV codes from many studios had tell-tale characters in specific 'digits' of the code so blu-ray and DVD could be distinguished easily. I think the Studios should make this right for codes that redeem incorrectly; their failure to provide multiple licenses to UV, or to properly assocciate codes to HD licenses is the most plausible culprit. Even if a streaming provider/code redemption outlet does not support HD at this time, the license should be correctly assocciated with a given code.

    Summary, my vote is "It's a studio problem"
