    VUDU PURCHASES

Movies that I have purchased on VUDU are not moving over to Ultraviolet. One of the people I share my Ultraviolet with first advised me they could not see the following movies that I purchased on Vude: 8 Bond movies, The Avengers, People Like us, LOL, Margaret. They were purchased on Vudu but I cannot find them on MY master Ultraviolet account. My Ultraviolet account is like with Vudu.

Only movies that have a UV logo at the bottom above the ratings (like this page) will get you a UV copy when you buy from Vudu. Not all studios currently support UV.

sbuberl is correct with this, also I know for a fact that the Avengers is not a UV title. You must look for the logo... I personally only buy titles on blu-ray that come with a UV code or blu-rays that are eligible for D2D.... This way if UV or Vudu completely fails, at least I have a physical copy of the movie and can use it for whatever purpose I want! I don't think it will but it's better to be safe!

Although I did receive a free copy of the Avengers from Amazon because they couldn't fulfill my pre-order for the Avengers Collection with the special case. I've now cancelled my pre-order but I still received a free copy on blu-ray .

Yeah, even though I had a meltdown about the price, I had about $25 in credits so I bought the Indiana Jones digital bundle. Only AFTER I purchased it did I realize that it is not UV compatible. So I hope Vudu sticks around for a verry long time.

I actually believe that it will. That being said, it would not surprise me to see Vudu sold off by Walmart to another company, but I hope not.
