I opened a case with the Better Business Bureau

I bought Batman Begins Blu-Ray with ultraviloet copy at Wal-Mart came home and used the code and it gave me a Standard Definition copy of the movie. I submitted a ticket to Vudu who told me it was not their problem to contact the studio or ultraviolet. I submitted a ticket to ultraviolet and have not heard anything back yet. I have submitted a ticket to Warner Brothers no reply yet. I tried a ticket at Flixter also since Warner Brothers owns them and I got back a form letter that provided no help.

I have opened a case with the better business bureau I'll let you guys know what happens.

Wah. Hopefully you can keep from crying, *****ing and moaning long enough to report back. Did you tell the BBB that you are (and probably will be again) a thief?? Or did you leave that part out? Personally, I couldn't care less about your situation. No need to report back on my account. I'm sure there a lot of people here with a sense of self-entitlement like yourself that will rally 'round your cause.

I just hope his IP gets logged and submitted so he can pay a $500 fine =D. $500 for one pirated movie = 250 ALWAYS AVAILABLE movies on vudu with D2D! LOL, VUDU AND UV ALL THE WAY!

        +1

Also until UV came about, almost all digital copies (itunes and etc.) would only give you SD versions of the film. He still received his digital copy, and I can agree with being a little sad about not getting the HD version. But if support didn't help me, I would probably just use the D2D program. Not the best solution but it works and VUDU rocks! I have over 250+ movies in my library and 10+ TV seasons!

            P.S.

I love vudu. I'm not in any way *****ing about vudu. I was an original owner of a BX-100 years ago. I'm more or less just ranting because I bought the Blu-Ray for the sole purpose of getting an HDX version of the film in vudu and got stuck with an SD version. They should fix that don't you agree? They meaning Warner Bros. or Ultraviloet.

As I said worst case scenario, you can use D2D to get the HD version. They really don't guarantee the version you will get with any UV redeemable movie. Most of the time it is HD. But like I said previously before UV was offering HD versions for digital copies, almost all digital copies were SD. You still received a digital copy, just wasn't quite the one you had wanted. I don't really see how it warrants filing complaints to the BBB when you received the digital copy as stated.

Yeah maybe not. I just got ****ed that I paid all that money for a disk to get what I thought would be an HD version and didn't. I'll live

Don't you at least agree that as a customer I should be able to speak to a support individual?

I've had no problem talking to Vudu support. I've never tried to talk to UV. I can't talk to Apple either. There's lots of companies that are inaccessible.

                          Good luck.

WB was one of the few to spell out what you would get in terms of UV on the back of the box. Unfortunately, it says SD.

However, sometimes you get HD (as you can see from searching and reading other threads on this board). I bought the Dark Knight Rises, the box said the UV copy was SD, but (as indicated elsewhere on this board) my copy (redeemed through Vudu) is HDX!

Hopefully you can eventually get help from Warner/Flixster.

Jeff....I was wondering about the theif comment myself?

As far as not getting the HDX version ...welcome to the world of UV. Somtimes it sucks and I do understand how you feel. You didn't get what you paid for. Like another film buff mentioned on the forum a while back ...

some of us film buff's don't completely trust UV yet. I'm sorry that happened to you. The benefits usually outweigh the risks.
