The 9/10 Aliens-only update is still the latest result.

I think echopulse is spot on as it's up to the studios to keep the new titles flowing...so I'm still encouraged, but I'm not getting my hopes up too high. What we need is some new UV announcements from Amazon or Disney to really bust open the floodgates, but again, I'm not placing any bets on that anytime soon.

The main holdout from my UV/D2D is the MGM catalogue...all the James Bond films, as well as all of the other classics they have. I can't think of too many films by the major UV companies (like Universal, WB, Fox, etc) that aren't UV compatible already, so it's really just MGM that are holding things up for me...

Re: Direct-to-Digital list and other utilities (Error Tracker, Redemption Log)

Stupid question, but is there any pressure Vudu would be able to put on MGM to get them to open up their catalogue for UV compatibility and D2D?

Anybody get the DVD of G.I. Joe Retaliation to work D2D?

MGM and Disney are both holding me up. They obviously have a ton of movies since both have purchased many other companies like Touchstone, Cannon, Orion, and United Artists. They have great movies like Armageddon, Cutthroat Island, Willow, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Terminator (Orion Pictures now owned by MGM), First Blood, Delta Force, Red Dawn, Breakheart Pass, Open Range, Shanghi Noon, Spaceballs, WarGames, Shoot To Kill, The Waterboy, Splash, all the Bond films, all the Rocky movies, and many others.

Universal has the following movies that I would like to see available: Back To The Future trilogy, The Land Before Time, For Richer Or Poorer, Jaws, Despicable Me, Eye See You, Ffolks, and The Usual Suspects.

Warner Bros. has the following: Mad Max, Gremlins, Don't Tell Mom The Baby Sitter Is Dead, If Looks Could Kill, Frequency, Moving, and Shiloh.

Filmyard Holdings owns Miramax Films. She's All That and The Switch are two of their's on my list.
20th Century Fox has a the following: The Princess Bride, Romancing The Stone, Bye Bye Love, Death Hunt, Mirror Mirror, Mrs. Doubtfire, Young Frankenstein, and Tuff Turf.

Dimension Films (now owned by The Weinstein Company) has the following: From Dusk Till Dawn, The Accidental Spy, The Longshots, Scream, Scream 2, Scream 3, Spy Kids, Spy Kids 2, and Spy Kids 3.

TriStar/Sony has the following: Iron Eagle, Jerry Maguire, Men In Black III, Rambo: First Blood II, and The Terminator 2.

Dreamworks has a couple that I am waiting on: Dreamer and Forces Of Nature.

Paramount Pictures has some: Raiders Of The Lost Ark and the other three Indiana Jones movies and The Evil Dead II.

United Film Distribution Company has the original Dawn Of The Dead. Not sure what else is in their catalog.

Titanic is either Paramount or 20th Century Fox. Not sure which.

I also have at least one movie from each of these studios: ITC Entertainment/Associated Communications Corp, Atlantic, Golden Harvest Media Asia, Walter Reade, Doty-Dayton Releasing, Dimension Films, and Cinema Libre.

Re: Direct-to-Digital list and other utilities (Error Tracker, Redemption Log)

What gets me is that some 2 movie collections, one movie will be able to d2d and the other isn't. They are both from the same production/distribution company, so you'd think they'd both be available. For instance, I have a 2 movie set that is a Dudley Moore set. One movie is available for d2d, "Best Defense", but the other, "Crazy People" isn't even available to but directly through vudu. They are both Paramount Pictures movies according to the dvd case, and Paramount is a DECE company. I know there's probably some licensing issue, or contract, or something blocking it, but I'd love to have Crazy People in my list of movies on VUDU. Along with the others I have sitting on my movie shelf that aren't available yet, lol.

There is no reason for Titanic not to be UV or D2D yet. The blu ray, dvd, digital copy combo pack was released well into the time of UV dc being standard for Paramount.

Can you run the script again? I know at least a few of the Anchor Bay titles have been added. Hoodwinked, Spy Kids 4, Django, Killing Them Softly, etc.

Still nothing new found with my scan since the Aliens update on 9/10. All of those you listed (or different titles in those series) have been available for a couple months. I think it's a false alarm today, but thanks for being proactive.

I'm going to turn up the dial on the optimism meter and switch to double-time scanning for the next several days, something's got to drop soon.

Yes, I see some where there when you first read the script. I didn't know so many titles that weren't UV in the vudu catalog were actually D2D.

Have there been updates? Star Trek: The Motion Picture DVD is now eligible for D2D. It was "Bluray only" not long ago, but the DVD now shows as eligible.

FMBB: Is the "Latest Updates" scan checking for new titles only? or would it catch this kind of change?

We have an update! I think.

1 new title found: Latest Updates

I'm interested to see if this is one of the new release placeholder entries or not.

As it is now, I don't have it reporting changes per existing title. I've started a few different updates to add this, but RL is getting in the way and I'm trying to strike a balance with a few features I'd like to add to my script, but there are currently some conflicts.
