All three Back to the Future movies are UV on VUDU.

Just got back from my trip to the store. All three LOR EE movies are in HDX in my UV locker.

This was a big one, since the DVD and Blu-ray versions both span multiple discs. It's much more convenient to download or stream them.

Has anyone checked out the audio?

Yes, I have the three LOR EE and the audio is DD 5.1 on Fellowship (#1) and DD + 5.1 on the other 2 if I recall correctly.

Yes and no. If you purchased them on Vudu they can be viewed in UltraViolet locker elsewhere.

HOWEVER, on the first movie it has a "UV redeem" on Vudu and likewise with Universal. The second and third movies have never had a "UV redeem" code and to my knowledge D2D was never offered either.

So there is no UV version of movies two and three, there is just UV streaming rights when purchased from Vudu.

Point being you can't get a copy from a blu-ray either with code or with DV2 on movie two and three.

OK you are talking about the ability to buy a Blu Ray or DVD and get a UV copy and I am talking about the existence of the Back to the Future movies in the Ultraviolet realm. All 3 movies do have Ultraviolet versions that can be purchased from Vudu, Cinemanow or Flixster.

In the goal of getting these movies added to the Disc to Digital list, one of the first steps is to have them UV enabled.

I would think the lack of UV copies with the physical versions of the movies would be a greater incentive to add them to disc to digital as there will be a larger market for the conversion of these movies.

              Doesn't work for the in-home D2D app.

I have the extended trilogy box set. Does anyone know if I can use that for the in store disc-to-digital program? Or do I have to have to have the three separate blurays?

Has anyone tried to D2D the Extended Edition Trilogy Bluray Box Set? Do I have to have the individual extended blurays in order to get a D2D version?

If you have the 3 movies from the EE Box set they will work at Walmart. I think 2 of them are now reading correctly in the at home program.

No, none of the LOTR:EE Blu-ray box set are detected as Extended Edition with Vudu2Go. They all show up with Fellowship and ROTK regular edition as your two choices.

And, because all you see is the cover art, the only way to know that is to check the Vudu movie cover art for all the editions.

My bad I was referring to this post but it looks like it is for regular edition Bluray.

This last one was particularly annoying because (A) I already had a "digital copy" code which had expired and (B) it did recognize LOTR 2 - Two Towers as well as LOTR 3 - Return of the King, but I didn't want to convert those, if I couldn't convert LOTR 1 at the same time....
