That's true if you have a WM with a photo center near by. However, that's no excuse for why you can't redeem those same titles in the D2D app or why Vudu hasn't fixed those titles. There are a lot of titles which aren't identified in the app that have been that way for many months. I know I've reported each many of times and they're still not fixed. Makes you wonder what's going on over at Vudu.

          I agree 100%!

There is no reason why they cannot get unrecognized titles fixed in VUDU To Go within a week (or less) and then tell us when these titles have been added/fixed.

I will be using Walmart for my next four D2D transactions...I have coupons for four free D2Ds.

I agree. Alternatively the system should automatically approve an unrecognized title when a certain number of users report the same disc as the same title. I too have reported tons of titles but months later, still no updates.

I'm building my list from vudu's disc to digital webpage. Most of their site, and apps, are javascript frontends with a json api. I'm scrubbing the api for my list. It's nowhere near a perfect solution, a few titles could potentially fall through the cracks, but until they provide a list of new titles, it'll do.

                Mr. FattyMBB,

I suspected that was the method you were utilizing. A script of such is something I had entertained writing. You championing the cause is very much appreciated.

                Thx!

Where did you find their web API documented?

There is no documentation. He used his browser tools to analyze how the scripts worked himself.

If you have the whole list, you can just look in IMBb or Vudu for all the Angelina J films and x-reference.

Yes, that is exactly what he meant.

It would be nice if Vudu (or the University of California, Berkeley and the other groups who developed their system) would publish documentation for web APIs that would allow us to access lists of movies (including movies we own) since they are either NOT going to provide us with tools we have been asking for or not going to have them ready for a while.
