Question about disc-to-digital in Walmart store

Ive made my list of titles to be converted, but im not sure what to expect at the counter.

When handing my discs to the clerk, are they just checking and scanning barcodes or am I trading in the discs+fees for digital copies?

    Hello mrgabriel,

The clerk will apply a small stamp on each disc to verify that you indeed own those titles that you wish to convert to digital. You also hand over your list and provide your email address associated with Vudu. They will take care of the rest and ring you up for those titles. You keep your physical copies of your movies.

Most don't even check the disks very well but they might just verify that they are the disks for the movies you're going to D2D. No, they may stamp the disks but you will get to keep them.

I've never had them stamp any disc.

My crew stamps, but the ink is dry so it has no effect.

P.S.: I suggest always go for the HDX upgrade (i.e. sd to hd) where available. You will be glad you did l8tr.
