    DVD queue

I would like to see Vudu implement a DVD Queue that holds every disc I scan for as long as I have my account or until I choose to convert to a Vudu format. I think its an obvious win-win for both Vudu and the customer. For beginners, I don't want to scan every single disc in my collection to find out only 40% are available to convert. Next, I can't scan my whole collection in one sitting, so it would be nice if I could stop and come back another day to continue my scanning. Lastly, by implementing this, Vudu will make much more money because as titles become available, users will be notified their titles are ready for digital. Even better, there could be a setting for users to have their DVD queue titles automatically added on availability.

Plus VUDU would have a list of movies that real consumers want to add that can be used to prioritize and negotiate with the studios. I'm keeping a spreadsheet of movies that are not yet UV, UV but not VUDU, and not working with D2D.

So this is different than our Wish List? It sounds like you are asking to be able to load DVDs into a Disc-to-digital queue, even titles that are not available on Vudu. Don't get me wrong, I think this is a great idea...but I wonder how we could expect Vudu to know what the movie is that we are loading into our queue if they don't even have a digital copy available on their server. Heck, Vudu ToGo can only recognize about 40% to 50% of the available titles.

I do think this is a great idea if the success rate would be high enough so that we're not just wasting our time sticking several discs into our computer just to load one or two tiles into a queue.

The program recognizes plenty of unavailable titles...occassionally it even recognizes an available title as an unavailable one. I think it would be a nice feature, but certainly not a high priority (like correctly recognizing all the available titles).
