Fandango Forum Guidelines

The Fandango are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Fandango experience. Here, Fandango customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango Streaming and Fandango Streaming related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Fandango customers with questions and/or problems with their Fandango Streaming service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Fandango Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

Please post all comments in English. When posting a comment in the Fandango Forums, please conduct yourself in a respectful and civil manner. While we respect that you may feel strongly about an issue, please leave room for discussion.

Fandango reserves the right to refrain from posting and/or to remove user comments, including comments that contain any of the following:

1. Obscenities, defamatory language, discriminatory language, or other language not suitable for a public forum
2. Email addresses, phone numbers, links to websites, physical addresses or other forms of contact information
3. "Spam" content, references to other products, advertisements, or other offers
4. Spiteful or inflammatory comments about other users or their comments
5. Comments that may potentially violate the DMCA or any other applicable laws
6. Comments that discuss ways to manipulate Fandango at Home products/services, including, but not limited to, reverse engineering, video extraction, and file conversion.

Additionally, please keep in mind that although Fandango retains the right to monitor, edit, and/or remove posts within Fandango Forums, it does not necessarily review every comment. Accordingly, specific questions about Fandango products and services should be directed to Fandango customer service representatives.

Terms of Use - User Comments, Feedback, Reviews, Submissions

For all reviews, comments, feedback, postcards, suggestions, ideas, and other submissions disclosed, submitted or offered to Fandango, on or through this Site, by e-mail or telephone, or otherwise disclosed, submitted or offered in connection you use of this Site (collectively, the "Comments") you grant Fandango a royalty-free, irrevocable, transferable right and license to use the Comments however Fandango desires, including, without limitation, to copy, modify, delete in its entirety, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from and/or sell and /or distribute such Comments and/or incorporate such Comments into any form, medium or technology throughout the world.

    Ulltraviolet to Vudu Link Error

    Greetings. This is my first post and I am having trouble with linking VUDU and UV back. This has been going on for over 2 months. My link between the two was disconnected and when I tried to relink them I get this error message...

    "You can only create two links to a streaming service that stays connected to devices such as a cable box, game console, smart TV, or connected Blu-ray player. To proceed, unlink one of your current links to this streaming service (from your Member Details page at uvvu.com) or check with the service for other options."

    Okay, I don't have other links to Vudu besides my own, and my subaccount, it should work. My Vudu Link in my Linked services in UV completely disappeared and I can not get it back.
    The only way I can relink is uncheck the box that streamlines the sign in process. So my link is on for only half a day.

    I have contacted Vudu support and I was told to contact UV. I did and after several emails of telling them what my problem was and how I am able to relink. They said it was a known issue and they are working on it. I am happy they are fast in replying to my message, even gave me an update a month later saying sorry it is taking too long. But it has been exactly 2 months since I first messaged them and everyday it has drove me crazy on what this "known issue or error" is. If it is known then why not explain what it is? My only guess is when they made these changes to just having 2 links to a service and a more permanent link rather than 1 year, a hidden link could still be in older accounts like mine and is confusing UV to think that I am link but really I am not, or it is a bug or glitch. I also heard there was an update releasing the end of July to UV accounts that would solve most of the issues but did not solve mine, I heard a lot of people had theirs fixed right away. I am a fan of VUDU and I want to continue building my digital library, and Vudu is my chose for Disney's Digital Copy Plus. If anyone has ideas on this issue please let me know, I feel like I am in the dark. Thanks.

    I'm getting the same error. When I go to .uvvu.com and then to the Member Details page I see no devices at all. All I see are services (Vudu, Flixter, and CinemaNow). Nothing else. What am I missing? I just upgraded my Roku so that we can watch in our room and in the living room and now I can't watch at all!! Not cool!

    starhedgehog, where is the setting your talking about that you're using as a work around?

      I have a sinking feeling that the total for accounts to be able to stay linked has dropped down to 1 now even though it says
      You can only create two links to a streaming service that stays connected to devices...
      Something just happened to my main account and I can't get it to stay linked now.

        I have the same issue and contacted UV, they just give you the can answers on how to link your UV account to a service and then quickly close out the case.

        However, I have reopened the case but, not gotten an a response. I would suggest anyone with this issue to open up a case with them anyway. The more cases they get on this issue the better the chances are they will look into fixing it.
