I feel like this has been discussed, but what is the status of d2d tv? Seems like tv has been getting bigger for vudu, and with a lack of new movies being added, seems like a logical step. I'd love to have some of my favorite shows on vudu.

D2D TV?

Re: D2D TV?
I think that there are at least three major roadblocks to UltraViolet acceptance. One of those roadblocks is the lack of television content. The industry needs to work towards getting television studios to adopt UV and allow those titles to be placed in our UV digital locker via disc-to-digital.
Why create this digital locker system and provide us a way to stream titles from our digital locker without the ability to place the content we own and the content we want to watch into those lockers? For people who view a lot of television, UltraViolet is useless to them. For people who have a lot of Disney titles, they also may find UV useless.
The problem is that overcoming these roadblocks (getting all of our desired content in our digital locker) is in the hands of each individual studio. I think that at getting at least the top 150 television shows of all time available and the top 500 movies of all time available for UltraViolet and disc-to-digital would be awesome and probably has to happen if we're going to see UltraViolet acceptance.
By the way, most of the top 500 movies of all time are already UV and available for D2D. We are basically missing Star Wars and a few of those Disney titles that you would find on a list of Top 500 Movies of All Time.

Re: D2D TV?
I agree that there are many people who won't have any use for UV because they watch a lot of TV shows, but few movies. I also agree that TV producers need to make thier shows available for UV and Disc to Digital. There are a few shows that I would buy if they were UV. Buy I would only buy these shows if they were complete, not individual seasons.
Little House on the Prairie
Boy Meets World
Full House
Seventh Heaven
24
Lost
Smallville
Once Upon a Time
Saved By The Bell
Family Matters
