Did the 50% off for 10 or more are converted end? I thought it ended 6/30, but still see it showing as available on the VUDU To Go app. Is there a new date because it was extended?

The offer was extended until 9/30/2014.

Here's a list of titles, though not inclusive, which have issues with the V2G program. As you can see there's an epidemic of titles, 52 titles in my list alone, which have gone from "Unable to identify this disc." to "There was a problem while verifying this disc."

This list only contains those titles I've tried and doesn't include titles which already came with a UV code.

              The Last Stand (bluray)
              Life of Pi (bluray)

both give "There was a problem verifying this disc" error. Been trying Last Stand for a few months. This was the first time I tried Life of Pi so not sure how long that one has been available for D2D.

Re: In-Home D2D Bugs - Movie not recognized / Mapping Issues

It seems the problems are just getting worse. Now instead of the useless "error during verification", I now get disc not recognized and a generic disc not eligible (even though it is shown as D2D eligible, and the cover matches the image on the eligible pop up window).

Are we wasting our time reporting these errors?

Based on my experiences, the failure rate seems to have increased to 1 in 3 fails for any number of reasons.

                Latest problems

"There was a problem verifying this disc"

Scooby Doo The Mystery Begins (Blu Ray) (had my neighbor try his DVD and he gets disc not eligible, but it is).
                The Last Stand (DVD)
                ParaNorman (Blu Ray)

Batman, Dark Knight Returns Pt 2 Blu Ray - Disc not recognized (asks you to type in the name and says we are manually verifying this and will get back to you). Pt 1 converted.

4 of 10 failed in this D2D batch

The Thing (Kurt Russel version) recognized as Blu ray, but charges 5 for HDX. Went ahead and paid since I am tired of the errors.

Charlie's Angels-UPC Code 043396060173= States that it is not eligible for D2D conversion on Vudu, but is on the list. When trying to redeem through other sites, it says that burned discs are not eligible. However, this is a real disc that was purchased in a retail store.

Patch Adams- UPC Code 025192058622-Again on the eligible list, but saying it is not eligible when trying to convert
Phone Booth- UPC Code 024543080480-Error message validating disc

Make sure all decrypter software is inactive before scanning (in Vudu To Go or any other D2D app). Decrypter software can make pressed discs look like burned ones.

True, but in this case I think it's just certain pressings read as burned discs. My Hollow Man DVD from the Double Feature set does the same thing. CN seems to be the biggest offender. I've had a few retail discs say this to me from them and I have no decryption software on my computer.

Another great example of the deep issues this program has.

The kids movie Scooby Doo Curse of the Lake Monster (DVD) (is eligible) but the discs shows up in Vudu 2 Go with this error

This disc 'Yellowbeard - DVD - 1983' is not eligible for Disc to Digital conversion.

C'mon Vudu, reading metadata is not rocket science. The DVD drive on the computer reflects the correct name, so the right info is there.

Can anyone confirm if they have corrected any of the errors reported here? Or is it a case of Vudu just gladly taking the $ for what works and leaving it at that.

There was a problem while verifying this disc:

Tremors and Tremors 2 Blu ray disc from the Tremors Attack Pack
Tremors 3 and Tremors 4 Blu ray disc from the Tremors Attack Pack
Speed 2 Cruise Control Blu Ray

Every so often an error is fixed, but I've rarely seen anything out here from any of the moderators about it. Usually we find out when someone retries a movie and it suddenly works.

Bonnie and Clyde (UPC 883929113378, Blu-ray)

                            Blu-ray misread as DVD:
Mission: Impossible (UPC 097361198941, in boxset UPC 097361445946)
Mission: Impossible 3 (UPC 097360829440, in boxset UPC 097361445946)

                            Apollo 13 (UPC 025192046155)

                            ---------------

Has the policy for handling "Blu-ray misread as DVD" and similar issues changed? I've always converted from DVD to HDX anyway and asked for a credit (usually $1.50, or the difference between DVD-to-HDX & BD-to-HDX after 50% discount). But when I did that for Kung Fu Panda I got a bunch of flak, followed by a warning that "This is the last time we will be able to credit your account for the issue" and instructions to convert DVD to SD in the future and then ask for an "upgrade" to HDX (which I thought was impossible). I now have 6 other discs on hold (4 BDs misread as DVD, 2 combo packs with bad BD & good DVD) because I don't know whether to convert them to SD or HDX...

That appears to be the standard warning/message for discs not recognized by the other programs. Check back in a few weeks and the disc may be correctly recognized/fixed.

                                Dune (1984) - Blu-ray UPC 025192046865

It was recognized as a DVD instead of Blu-ray.

I saw that the Dune Blu-ray was on the list of conversions since March 2013.

Don't know what the problem may be, it's a brand new purchase from Amazon.
