    Purchasing Used DVDs

I want to go shopping for used DVD's tomorrow at Movie Stop. If I buy a DVD and someone has already converted the disc to digital and just sold it, will that prevent me from converting it on my own account? In other words, is there some type of serial number on a disc that allows it to be converted only once? Thanks!

The only way it would be an issue is if you tried to do an in-store conversion and the disc was stamped previously. You will have no issue if you use it for the in-home D2D program as long as the system recognizes the disc.

I have a pawn shop near me which sells six DVDs for five dollars. I stop by about once every few weeks to see if there are any new titles which interest me. I have yet to find one with a Wal-Mart stamp on it.

      Just FYI...

You will not have an issue converting a used DVD to digital. Many of mine are used and I have never had any stamped by Walmart either...nor have they ever checked to see if they are stamped.

Yes, I just did a D2D at Walmart the other day for Superman The Movie and they didn't stamp the disc.

There is no hidden serial number.
