    New Disney banner (Possibly UV?)

The Fifth Estate blu ray was announced today. The banner at the top now includes Digital HD in addition to their usual digital copy. This could just be in reference to being able to watch the movie in HDX on Vudu through digital copy+, but other titles that have digital copy+ only have digital copy listed on their banner. Fingers crossed?

This was a new terminology agreed upon by all the studio's last month. It's not going to be UV.

Right, Digital HD is not the same has UltraViolet. UltraViolet titles will have the purple UV logo on them.

Does this possibly have something to do with why I cannot locate a movie we just downloaded to VUDU? We have 3 new discs, two of them my daughter had no trouble with, we can all see the movies just fine no matter what device we are on, they also show up in our linked UV. However the 3rd movie is a Disney movie, The Lone Ranger. She downloaded it like the first two (or so we assumed) while she was logged into her VUDU account... which is linked to a family UV account. She is the only one who can see the Lone Ranger... so is my assumption correct in thinking since she downloaded it to her VUDU, and since it is not a UV movie, this movie is never going to show up on VUDU for the rest of the household? I am apparently extremely confused about how this all works. And I apologize if this is not the right place to have asked this. I did try posting a new question but it's not shown up yet, I assume moderators are off for holiday.. this has just really frustrated me! It's not like we can't watch the movie because we *do* have the DVD but using VUDU is SO much more convenient.

I agree it is really confusing. I have 3 others linked to my uv account and one of them bought Iron Man 3 but it only showed up in their vudu account. Basically all of Disney is only going to show up in who ever put the account into their vudu. That is the sad part about all the studios except for Disney and I think a few small ones who will not back UV.
Hopefully they will join soon but knowing Disney they have always done things their way. They do have a good product and brand but I think they are losing some money not backing UV.
With very few studios even giving iTunes movie codes with their blu/dvd combo packs now everything is a mixed bag so you can't go to one source and have it all.

I have apple tv for those movies in the past that were iTunes copies only, a lot of disc to digital uv copies, and of course the disney vudu only ones. I wish I could put them all on UV and just play them through the vudu service and be done.
