    Dolby Digital Upgrade Question

Have there been any instances where the audio for particular movies have actually upgraded from Stereo to 5.1 or 7.1? I've noticed threads dating back to 2007, referencing particular movies that still have not had the audio upgraded. Also, if any have indeed upgraded, would our library update accordingly to reflect the change, or would we be expected to purchase a new version?

I would also love some tractions on this issue. I've purchased these movies on Blu-ray after I put them in VUDU because Stereo sound is just not right:

    Blade
    Blade II
    Blade: Trinity
    High Plain Drifter
    Running Scared

I can tell you that with regard to your second question, Vudu generally doesn't keep more than one copy of a movie at a given quality, with the exception of intentionally distinct versions (theatrical, extended, unrated, etc). If there's only one version of a movie, you'll stream whatever happens to be the current version at the time.

I'm not sure what would happen if you have a device that can download, and they update their transfer after you download it on one of your devices.
