I wouldn't risk buying them. Especially since they are glitch based.

No, i'm saying that we don't have replacement codes available from the studio.

I would much rather go through VUDU support for this if I can. Much faster and much more helpful. If this isn't something that can be done by VUDU that's ok, but if it is, then that would be most helpful to know.

Also interested to know where you got the bluray if it came from there. I found some places online selling VUDU codes for these movies, but was skeptical.

Just sent 3 different support tickets to Paramount (Thor, Captain American and Iron Man 2) requesting new codes. Since it's Friday, I'm not expecting a reply until at least the beginning of the next week. If they give me new codes, I'll let you know if I have any luck.

The odd thing is, the replies I have seen people get from Disney talking about Paramount handling the codes. Just seems odd to me that Disney would have someone else handling these codes. I don't think these will be re-releases when Thor 2 comes out, because why wouldn't they just say that? I'm sure they'd want people to buy (or in some cases re-buy) the product to get the code. That and it's clearly already on their list of movies released with DC+ codes. If these codes are from Paramount, you'd think they would've had to merge all the codes in their database somehow. I'd be surprised if ANYONE has been able to redeem a code for these 3 movies.

Well crap. Maybe they are re releasing when Thor Dark World comes out. Really strange they are listed as DC+.

I'm hoping that Paramount will actually issue a code with a Vudu option.

I also asked Vudu a couple weeks ago if they knew anything about the releases/codes. All I got was a vague "check your local WM". Any of the moderators have any other info? I am not sure that it would be a WM-exclusive/Vudu-only code, since the DC+ site also lists an AIV option, but maybe they have some insight on the matter...?
So the response from Paramount is that the digital copy code is only usable for iTunes. Run-around complete!

Thanks again and keep us posted. I'll run out and get all 3 if Paramount hooks you up.

My call with Disney at least helped with some other information. The Paramount releases tagged with the Buena Vista Home Entertainment UPCs are the only "re-releases" of the movies that have come out (the 9/24/2013 releases, according to retailers). No other versions of the movies have been released or are planned at this time (not to say they won't in the future). Now to see if Paramount actually helps out, or if this will just turn to a typical round-about between retailers like many other issues.
