    Miramax new UV movies

I just noticed Shakespeare In Love that I bought with my vudu credit is UV activated. I also noticed a ton of new release UV codes on flixster. Looks like another wave of UV support from Lionsgate/Miramax. Some of the codes were already UV like Amelie and Chicago.

    A couple new one's I found.

    Shakespeare In Love
    Velvet Goldmine

Was Life is Beautiful available before? I thought that I checked it, previously. I see it UV now.

Unfortunately, we shouldn't hold our breadth for D2D. I tried Shakespeare In Love blu-ray, and it wasn't even recognized by Vudu2Go.

I actually tried my Shakespeare In Love DVD after I read your post, and it did recognize that, but of course said it wasn't eligible. Hopefully it will be in the next round of additions.

I have noticed a lot of films that Miramax produced in the 90s like Swingers and Rounders are now listed as owned by Lionsgate. Hopefully they can make even more of their back catalog available on UV and D2D soon. I would love to add all of these, the Kevin Smith movies and Good Will Hunting to my collection, but I can't bring myself to pay $10 or more for movies I already own.

Lionsgate appears to be rereleasing some of the Miramax titles on Blu-ray with an UltraViolet copy.

Yes. Through their website is where I've seen them all at. Though some are only DVD (like My Left Foot).

I'm waiting for lots of titles from the Weinstein Bros. Titles like Serendipity, Jersey Girl, She's All That, Clerks, Scary Movie, Spy Kids, Hoodwinked, and Joe and Silent Bob Strike Back. Their films are tied up with so many different companies, including Miramax, Dimension Films, The Weinstien Company, and Disney.

Don't forget the Scream films (with Scream 4 being the UV exception).
