Not all Vudu titles are Ultraviolet?

Noticed that my Vudu account has more titles than my Ultraviolet account.

Are some Vudu titles exclusive to Vudu and not Ultraviolet?

Studios determine which titles are UV. Companies like Vudu and others have many movies that are not UV. If you own a movie that is currently not UV and the studio later makes that movie UV then you will have UV rights to that movie at that time.

Possibly, but many titles that are not UV are probably not exclusive to Vudu...they could also be available on other competitors for sale (or rent), they are just not available to be shared via UV once you buy them. As LuzRinggold said, it's up to whoever holds the licensing rights.

Good example is Jungle Book. I have it in Vudu only.

A good rule of thumb is that anything owned by Walt Disney, including Marvel and Touchstone titles will not be UV, and nor will MGM catalog titles. Also LucasFilm titles are not UV.

Disney doesn't participate in UV at all; all their films here are Vudu-only. Same for MGM, with a few limited exceptions where other studios were involved (i.e., Skyfall is UV but all other Bond films are Vudu-only). Many Lionsgate/Summit titles were Vudu-only till just recently.

With Lucasfilm now part of Disney those can be folded together, with one curious distinction: While non-Disney Lucasfilm titles on Vudu (i.e., Indiana Jones) are Vudu-only, Marvel titles still owned by non-Disney studios such as the X-Men/Wolverine (Fox) and Spider-Man (Sony) series are UV. (All MCU titles, including Iron Man, are now owned by Disney and are Vudu-only.)
