Are legally burned MOD DVDs (Warner Archive) eligible for D2D?

I saw posts in search that sort of beat around the bush, but none that addressed the issue directly; the closest I found involved Warner Archive Blu-rays (pressed, not burned). I just received four Warner Archive MOD DVDs, one of which -- The Year of Living Dangerously -- is on the D2D list. (Apparently there's a pressed DVD version of that title also.) All four discs returned the exact same "ineligible" error message (no title) in Vudu To Go, suggesting they're ineligible as burned discs (even though they're legit). Are legally burned MOD DVDs like this eligible for D2D at all?

Or it could suggest that Vudu ToGo simply cannot read the disc. But burned DVDs are not eligible for D2D.

Thanks, but what I was looking for was confirmation that "burned DVDs" officially includes MOD as well as the truly homemade kind. However, after further research I discovered my Warner Archive discs aren't even encrypted (at least using normal DVD encryption), so obviously Vudu To Go doesn't know the difference. Slightly disappointing, but understandable.

The exact error message I got was: "This disc is not eligible for Disc to Digital, please insert another disc or try again later." That's different from the "cannot read"-type errors I (and apparently you also) usually get when accidentally loading an unencrypted disc, but it's also different from the "X is not eligible" error (X being the name of the movie) for most pressed DVDs not eligible for D2D. It also appeared on both The Year of Living Dangerously and the three older, ineligible titles I also got from Warner Archive: Dangerous (1935), Goodbye, Mr. Chips (1939) and What Price Hollywood? (1932). All in all, that suggested it could actually be the "we don't accept burned DVDs" message instead of a true error; that's why I started a new thread rather than post to the error sticky.

The software would have no way to differentiate between a legally and non-legally burned dvd. You could probably still take them in to a walmart. I have seen that Disc is not eligible message before with (some) rental discs I've gotten used and 1 official disc that was an Alfred Hitchcock movie that has a major studio release as well as some public domain releases (The Man Who Knew Too Much). Mine was a public domain release. I took TWKTM into a walmart and they accepted it fine.

It probably just depends on whether the system recognizes the specific "version" of the disc and whether that movie is D2D eligible.

That is, if the system simply doen't recognize whatever disc profile of the MOD version, then maybe it's simply a matter of asking them to add that version to the queue and mentioning whatever information is available: title, UPC, etc. Maybe mention it's from the Warner Archive Collection MOD program as opposed to prior pressed version(s). Hopefully there shouldn't be any major issues? As long as the movie title itself is D2D? But, I don't know for sure...
