    Is it too late?

I have a few regrets already on a few movies while doing the disc to digital. This is something I try to debate even before I start but it comes back to bug ya. Is there any way once you have converted a movie in SD to come back later and upgrade it to HDX? That's what happens when you really start to get more selective on some of your SD copies and yet have the great opportunity of upgrading.

Unfortunately there is no current option to upgrade SD to HDX. My best advice is always pick HD or HDX if avail when D2Ding.

You can still upgrade though. You just have to pay the full price. There's no discount for doing sd first. It's be nice if there were.

We'll just call that an unofficial upgrade.

Note that "full price" shouldn't be any higher than $2.50 assuming you're converting a DVD, not a Blu-ray; you're doing it at home; and you wait until you have 10 or more to convert.

But it is grating to pay twice for the same content, and that's why I can count on one hand the number of discs I have converted for which only SD was available. (And those were animated children's movies, where the quality really doesn't matter as much because of both the content and the intended audience.)
