Vudu To Go not working after update

After a recent update, the Vudu To Go program (not the Windows Vudu App), is broken.

I specifically use the program for those times when I find Blu Rays that do not have a digital copy so I can purchase one using the disc.

The Windows App, and the website both seem to be working fine, the Vudu To Go program opens and runs, but will not allow downloads, nor will it recognize the movies I have already downloaded as being in the download location ( I d not know where this folder is, but the movies that were present before the update say they cannot be played because the associated file is no longer present).

Is there a hot fix coming for Vudu To Go, or is this designed to cause people to stop using this program? Considering the large number of discs that come without digital copies I hope this is not the case.

I have the same issue, using VuduToGo on Windows 10. I can't stream or download now. The Adobe Air update I got last night seems to have broken it.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled adobe and Vudu with no change. Same as you, I can use the Windows App or the browser but I want to download and watch offline not stream.

Similar here. I can still stream movies live from vudu, but if I try to download any movie via vudu to go, I get "Sorry, there was a problem downloading this content. Please try again later." Tested this on two different computers and several different movies, all got the same result. Hopefully Vudu will fix this soon.

I am having the devs look into this issue. I'll keep you posted once we have a solution in place.

I'm having the same issue after update to Adobe Air (v30.0.0.107). I get the message:
We are having problems with playback. We apologize for the inconvenience. [#19]

Ditto, either the latest Win10 update or Adobe Air update seems to be broken Vudu To Go. Exact same error message. *sigh*

                Had the same problem.
                uninstalled adobe air v30.0.0.107.
                Restarted my computer.
Installed adobe air runtime v29.0.0.112, from here https://helpx.adobe.com/air/kb/archi...k-version.html
                Vudu works now.
Have to ignore the Air update request.

Euson1 is correct the issue lies within the Air update. I just uninstalled only the Adobe Air - did not need to uninstall Vudu To Go app.
                  Using the link Euson1 provided:
Installed adobe air runtime v29.0.0.112, from here
https://helpx.adobe.com/air/kb/archi...k-version.html I was able to get back up and running.

                  Cheers

Yep, it was Adobe Air. Thanks for the hotfix Euson1.

The latest Adobe AIR Update [30.0.0.107 Windows] in VUDU to GO actually prevents me from being able to download ANYTHING that I have purchased from VUDU! I had to go to

                      https://helpx.adobe.com/air/kb/archi...k-version.html

Uninstall AIR version 30.0.0.107 and then re-install Adobe AIR 29.0.0.112 Windows before VUDU to GO would let me download my purchases again.
So if you can, please let the folks at ADOBE know that I cannot update AIR until they fix this? Thank you!

I am having a problem with my VUDU account. Ever since I signed up to Movies Anywhere a couple of months ago, none of the movies I have Redeemed UV codes for are showing up on my VUDU account. The ones I had before signing up are in there, as are the 5 'Freebie' movies.

Since I signed up though, I have had a UV code for 'Darkest Hour' and 'The Adventures of Robin Hood'. They are in my UV library and on Flixter, but not in my VUDU account, even though I have connected and disconnected several times.

I have contacted VUDU about this several times, and I have even contacted UV, who said they had solved the problem, but heard nothing back from VUDU who have not resolved the problem.

I just updated to the latest version of Adobe Air and it broke the Vudu-to-Go app on my Windows 10 laptop. Keep getting an error "Sorry there was a problem downloading this content. Please try again later." I'm about to leave on a long flight...this is VERY frustrating.

I reviewed your account and noticed that you're trying to use Vudu from outside of the US. Vudu is only available within the United States and Puerto Rico. VPNs/Proxies are also not allowed to be used to access Vudu. This is stated in our Terms of Service.

You can let the devs know (if they haven't figured it out already) it is an issue with VUDU's certificates most likely. I've noticed that every time I try to download something in the VUDU To Go application, an event shows up in the Windows Event Logs (Security) with level Error, source Schannel, and message "The certificate received from the remote server has either expired or is not yet valid. The TLS connection request has failed. The attached data contains the server certificate". Feel free to message me if I can help in some way.
