No getting correct The Exorcist version

I am scanning my blu-ray disc with VUDuToGo and it shows up as the theatrical version when the disc is the extended director's cut which suppose to give me at least the "Version You haven't seen", but no. What can i do??

Buy it right now that it's on sale. You'll pay $7.99 for it but then you'll get an $8.00 coupon to watch IT: Chapter 2.

Nothing except the previous suggestion of paying the minimal extra Starbucks cup of coffee difference to just buy it outright. As evidenced in the many numerous posts on this same topic for different movies, even this week, these type of issues dont get fixed.

Either skip the coffee this week and buy the movie, get the movie but not version you dont want and get the coffee, or dont get anything and get a coffee and give your barista an overdue tip.

Plus us you can always sell the $8 IT2 ticket for $6 on eBay to which Ive done numerous times previously.

The effort spent cent trying to get it fixed here could have had you the movie today and sold the ticket tomorrow on eBay.

These me days I dont bother and just buy what I want, especially when its only a few bucks difference. My time isnt worth the effort, wasted effort, stress, or difference in price compared to whatever else I spend on food, beverages, or entertainment.

life is complicated and stressful enough.

NOTE: Personal opinion from two decades of movie buying experience and owning and operating my owning my own retail movie retail business. Your experience may vary.

People really pay $6 for an $8 movie ticket code?

ebay doesn't even permit digital code sales, but some people get away with it and don't get caught.

If you manage to not get caught and you sell it for $6.... ebay takes 60 cents (10%), paypal takes about 47 cents, then shipping is going to be $3 to $4 first class depending on where you pay and how many discounts you get (ebay doesn't allow digital delivery, again you MIGHT get away with it, but you will definitely get a strike for not adding a valid tracking number to your sale).

So you might make $1 and change.... or possibly almost $5 if you break a lot of rules and get away with it.

          Doesn't seem worth it.

Yes, people will even pay $10, $12, $15 for a code. Especially if it?s for something like a 4K major release or Disney title selling for $25 or more on Vudu.

You don?t mail it. You email it, which costs nothing.

eBay doesn?t have a problem with it really anymore. They used to shut down auctions (but not close account) fairly regularly. They don?t anymore. There?s a fine line between the ?legal? they put on the slip and what ?legally? you can do.
