Fox movies becoming D2D/M2D ineligible as of 11-01-19?

Been talking with a few other users on different forums, appears Fox titles are in the process of being removed from the d2d/m2d eligible catalog. If you have any Fox titles you've been holding off on, now would be the time to try your physical discs. The timing of this right before the Disney+ launch, does not appear to be an accident.

Yep, all of the Fox titles are now gone. This really sucks. A warning from Vudu that was happening would have been nice.

Little to no warning is par for the course. What's this, a few dozen times now? And people still trust digital platforms.

The only other option now is to pay full price or wait for a sale. Either way the cost will be much higher. $2 Blu D2D/M2D vs $4.99 lowest sale price vs $14.99-19.99 full price.

Adding insult to injury... Vudu is still advertising Fox titles on its Disc to Digital page as being available. In fact, it seems the only titles being highlighted are Fox titles.

Why is everybody acting like this is Vudu's doing? Clearly this is a Disney mandate. I'm actually surprised it took this long for Disney to pull the plug.

Of course it's Disney's doing, but Vudu could have at least given their users some kind of notice about this after years of promoting their D2D service. I have several titles I would have redeemed if I had known when this was happening.

Now the balance has shifted between studio partners that participate in D2D versus those that holdout.

Even Independence Day is gone, couldn't scan the disc. All is greedy Disney's faults, they don't care about D2D among other acts they have done regarding their line of movies.

I'll never understand this. It's like the people who get mad when the credits they held on to for 3 months finally expired.

BTW, thanks Disney - continuing to ruin nearly everything they own.

VUDU is screwing me over on this. I have a few movies in my cart to convert that I scanned a few days prior to this change. Unknown to me i submitted to check out was charged for everything but several did not convert. VUDU customer service cant do basic math and refuses to refund my money.

Nooo! I can?t believe I missed this. It?s been in the works for like a year and a half. Does this apply to all Fox? Fox Searchlight, 20th Century, etc... Like absolutely no way?? Disney sucks.

Also, is there a list of studios that are still D2D eligible? I?m trying to find the overlap between studios are both D2D eligible and Movies Anywhere compatible?
