Vudu given up on older D2D titles

I always check the list every month to see if i can get more of my titles digitally but as the months (years) go by, they are doing less and less updates and its not do to a lack of available movies. The last update was back in march for 1 movie and before that i believe was december.
Furthermore, they keep listing new titles as D2D that already come with vudu codes. I thought the point was to get our old library digitally available. Please get back to work on making older titles D2D. Anyone else agree or am i missing something.

Where do you find this list? I've been looking for an easier way to determine what in my library is D2D eligible...

I always get confused by this list. Some of the movies on there I'm sure are D2D but not home D2D. For example the movie Tin Cup... I've tried and tried but it always comes up not recognized on my home D2D. However the same disc is recognized by a competing D2D and can be done at home. I would prefer to give VUDU my money and have held out redeeming it but some day I'll probably give up. Wouldn't make since to take it to Wal-Mart and pay $2 bucks when I can do it at home for the same price.

I agree. There are lots of catalog titles that I'd still like to add to my collection but I'm not about to pay more than 10 dollars for them when I can buy them on DVD for 2 bucks at the dollar store and upgrade them for 2.50 for a total of 4.50.

Vudu, PLEASE get MGM on board with Disc to Digital. I've got about 60 titles in my wishlist waiting on D2D to purchase.

Thank you for that...I was kind of hoping for something I could edit and store locally however...

EDIT: Never mind....figured that out. Tweak my nipples and call me Susan, but that was easy.

The ones faded out are in store D2D, all others can be done with disc in home.

Am I crazy or did they add a ton in the last couple weeks according to that grid. Are they all in store only?

They added about 645 last week, and a lot of them can be done at home.

Are the ones in all caps in store and the ones not at home? Because if so I've got like 16-20 movies to do when I get home.

Re: Vudu given up on older D2D titles

I checked a dozen titles I had and got 8 of them to work that previously didn't, but the listed Equilibrium and Mimic Directors Cut both came up with nothing, while Zodiac DC and Blade Runner DC only came up with the other versions, which I already owned. So, not bad, but not great. Also would be nice if they fixed any of the other titles that show up in the DB but come up unavailable or wrong disc, etc. edit: looked again and I guess it was just Blade Runner on the list, not the director's cut, though I know it already d2d'd before so not sure what was added. Edit again: Tried Equilibrium for a 3rd time and this time it worked. Edit 3: Even odder now, Blade Runner doesn't come up at all when I do a search. All I get is some episode of Supernatural. It doesn't even show up under Ridley Scott's filmography. It's still in my owned movies though.
