50 D2D Titles are BR at Walmart - But Require HDX Upgrade from DVD in D2D

    50 D2D Titles are BR at Walmart - But Require HDX Upgrade from DVD in D2D

    The following 50+ titles available in HDX at VUDU - only have DVD versions in Vudu D2D -
    requiring you to pay for an upgrade to HDX - even though Walmart sells Blu-Ray of all of them.

    It should be $2 to add them from BR - not $5 to upgrade them from DVD.

    Shouldn't have to pay for an upgrade, if BR exists and can be brought into the store (OR purchased at the same store!)

    It would be nice to have both formats eligible, but the reality is D2D eligibility has zero to do with whether the title is sold in a Walmart store, or any store for that matter.

      I am aware that there is no direct connection (aside from ownership of VUDU by Walmart) - but you would think that VUDU would be aware of a BR version of a title - so that no one needlessly needs to "ugprade" from DVD when the BR exists.

      In other words - they should add existing BR versions to their D2D eligible database; so people with BR can both do D2D at home, or take that same BR in-store and have it added.

          I had a few, if you add them to here - http://www.vudu.com/disc_to_digital.html and them take them into Walmart they will convert at the $2 price point, but you still get screwed if you have more then 10 cause Walmart doesnt offer the 10 or more discount. Its at least better then $5 a movie though. I have an open case with Walmart about this as Vudu CS isn't helpful.
