And the sale was only on for what, 5 years?

Fortunately, I ended doing my conversions a long time ago.

Would you have rather pay full price then? Why even post that?

Unfortunately, the app won't scan the UPC for my Back to the Future Trilogy (UK version) which also is not "recognized" in Vudu-To-Go. I see that after April 1, Walmart won't do it anymore so it looks some titles will never be able to be converted.

I just registered to ask for help. So far, I've attempted to scan the following boxed sets, to no avail:

            - Star Wars: The Complete Saga
            - Superman: The Complete Motion Picture Anthology
            - The Lord of the Rings - Extended Editions - Box, nor discs, even have a visable UPC code
            - The Godfather Complete Collection
            Star Wars is not eligible.

Thank you for you response...This is rather unfortunate....This requires a second $100 purchase, then?

Any confirmation on the others I've listed? Thank you.

Is that April 1st date true? All disc conversion would then be dependent upon these apps, with zero human interaction?
                What could possibly go wrong!

Can I visit a Walmart Store to convert my discs to digital?

After April 1, 2017, we will no longer be offering In-store conversion. But you don't need it anyway now that you can convert In-app starting today! Converting via our app or Vudu To Go saves you time and a trip.

I go to the used game/movie store and purchase cheap dvd's/blu ray's to convert. I wish there was still a list that you could see if the movie is eligible. That was so handy. But when they got rid of the old page that disappeared also.

You know, as long as the app recognizes you're home. Which mine did not. Inside the house or out.

Wow, that stinks. A lot. While $2 per movie is still a good deal, it basically doubles the expense I planned on spending, buying the disc drive JUST yesterday.

Thank you for that confirmation, Felipe. That is unfortunate news, but, I certainly understand why this is the case going forward. What would we do in the future with all UPC codes for legitimately purchased blu-rays and/or boxed sets which are not registering for the app, such as the boxed sets I listed in my above post. (Superman Collection, The Godfather, LOTR extended, etc.)?

Wait for a sale on the bundle, maybe on May the 4th (just a guess). Also besides "A New Hope" they are DisneyMoviesAnywhere eligible.

Thank you very much for the reply. I did not have the D-to-D option so I uninstalled and re-installed the app. The D-to-D option was there after the re-install.
(Of course, after I tried to scan something I got an error message saying that the bar code was "unrecognized". I'm guessing it's still using the same Gracenote database that wouldn't recognize these same disks with my Blu-ray drive).

                                Thanks again!
