    Vudu's total lack of fixing stuff

    it seems Vudu likes money but is not capable of fixing anything. they in fact are treating us poorly bye ignoring us. there customer service is sub par and very unprofessional and takes way to long to deal with issues. and they have zero interest in there D2D program cause they can't fix anything or choose to ignore us. so everyone post your dealing with Vudu. and hope one day they will show an actual interest in helping us with are problems and fixing them.

    It always baffles me seeing the D2D report bugs threads, they havent fixed a damn thing even since the old days of unrecognizing DVDs. That is a total waste of time.

      I haven't been able to use MD2D since it's launched. I contacted Vudu about it and haven't heard a reply since April on my ticket, so I decided to call them the other day. They told me just to stay patient.

        I love Vudu, it's my goto for movie streaming and offers the best experience.

        That said anyone who reads through these threads knows that not only others have numerous problems; but I personaly buy 5-10 movies EACH WEEK and constantly have problems:

        Instawatch
        Mobile D to D
        Disc + Digital
        UV redemption
        Shipping address

        Just for starters. Whenever I call (instead of create ticket on line) the CSR are always shocked with the numbers of tickets I've submitted and even still have open. And these tickets are not for trivial matters but for legitimate things not working.

          I can see the UV redemption issues being the studio's faults and not Vudu's, since they don't issue those. The rest I do hold Vudu accountable for because those are their services, and they have way to many issues that never seem to get fixed. I've seen InstaWatch not give titles at all, or give titles but they end up being the wrong quality, or even the wrong title all together. The D2D seems to have died because they never fix any of those, and the MD2D seems to be going that way. They were correcting UPS the first few weeks, and now nothing. They keep adding titles to the MD2D and they don't even read, and probably won't read a year from now. I've sent in a ticket about a DVD scanned by the MD2D program, and it redeemed an episode of a series instead of the actual title... crazy! These issues make me not want to buy from Vudu. If I do buy anything, it's always when a title actually works with the MD2D program or is on sale for $4.99. Other than that my friends who I share my movies with buy Blu-rays, then let me redeem them for us.

            I had an issue where I redeemed an actual code for a movie and Vudu placed it in pre-order and said when it redeems my credit card on file would be charged. I wrote them asking why my credit card would be charged on a redeemed slip code and they cancelled the order which in turn made my code slip invalid as I had already redeemed it on another site and chose Vudu to finish the process. Instead of Vudu just adding the code back on they want me send them all this proof which I did. Sent them the screenshot of Foxredeem where it showed I redeemed the code, sent them a screenshot of the redemption code, sent them a screenshot of the Bluray case but because I no longer had the receipt (tossed it out before I redeemed) they refuse to do anything. Even though I had a CSR rep say it would be fixed it never was. I had to buy the title again to get another redemption slip to redeem when it was no longer on pre-order. Wrote five emails and spoke with a dozen CSR reps who all told me it would be fixed (even had Felipe look into it). Yeah I got nothing even with proof.

            Seriously everytime I have any problem I have to jump thru hoops just to get something so simple fixed. I never did get a refund on the second copy I had to buy in like a movie credit.
