I assumed they would with VOD just as they would with a physical product, e.g. blu-ray, dvd, etc. I don't even know for certain if physical products are priced the same to each retailer, just assumed so as you're seeing a lot more aggressive price matching these days, with Amazon, Best Buy and others constantly lowering prices to match their competitors. Also, seems like all Disney/Touchstone/Hollywood movies are the same prices on both Vudu and iTunes - 9.99 for SD and 17.99 for HD, and they both had the Christmas deals at the same time on the same movies (though Vudu's prices were a dollar or two more). Not sure which threads are comparing Vudu pricing to Netflix, but that's apples to oranges in my mind.

I'd gladly pay a little more for movies on vudu as opposed to itunes, just not twice as much. Case in point: The Rambo trilogy was recently $5 less on iTunes, but still purchased it on Vudu. I could also definitely see paying more if they were UV-enabled (which they probably will end up being, and I'll kick myself for not buying them earlier, like when Iron Man was originally available for D2D and I waited on it).

    Yeah. What he said!
