Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc).     Unplugging or rebooting has failed to get Vudu to work here, in other words that will fix the issue 0% of the time, at least so far and I have tried that a few times including again this morning.

    I am having the same issue.
    The Co-star will not play the movies.
    I can sign in and see that I have purchased them but I just get a blank screen.

    This happens to me occasionally as well. Current updates on all software. 95% of the time, unplugging power and reconnecting works for me.

    No reports here or in the thread I started at Google TV Forums of a Co-Star running the most recent firmware working with Vudu. I own a Sony NSZ-GS7 Google TV and it works with Vudu so it isn't a universal Google TV problem and may only be an issue with the Co-Star. I don't know if the models from Asus, Netgear, LG, and Hisense have any issues with Vudu since I have no first hand experience but I believe all of those models work with Vudu since I have seen no reports to the contrary.

    Still doesn't work here and I would be interested in knowing if anybody is able to use Vudu with the Vizio Co-Star running the most recent firmware. I can't imagine there is any setting that would change the result but a comparison with a Co-Star actually working, if there are any, might help. If it just doesn't work period, it is strange that only four people would be reporting the issue here.

    I am also encountering the same issue. I have ensured my device is registered, it plays every other App without issues. I can play trailers, however, I can not play episodes I owned previously or since owning the Co-Star. In fact how I found out there was an issue was after I purchased an episode of a show and attempted to view it. As with others I receive a black screen and nothing more. I can navigate the app without issues, and again play trailers as much as I want.

    This concerns me due to the amount of data I have in my account, I have purchased many episodes and no longer have the access I want. I have since switched to Amazon for purchases of shows and movies, however, I would love nothing more then to go back to Vudu. Not only to have access again to all my data I've purchased but I prefer the Vudu interface as well. If this isn't resolved soon I will have to decide if I will go back to Vudu due to amount of episodes I am purchases via Amazon.

    This sounds like a Vudu-only issue on our Co-Star. I really hope they'll be able to find out what's causing this.

    Just checked Amazon Instant Video, it plays fine. She doesn't have a Netflix account but if that works for somebody else with this issue, I am sure it will work here as well and of course Netflix does use DRM, wouldn't have any content if it didn't although the DRM is likely very different than Vudu DRM. Google Play movies play fine as well.

    Yes, we have been playing M-GO rentals without issue. Will connect the Ultraviolet account to Vudu, M-GO and Flixter to see if the same movies that won't play on Vudu will play with those services.

    Vudu is the only paid movie service I use. Since there's no HBO-Go app I can't test anything else. That being said, movies from Netflix play fine, but I don't believe there's any DRM involved with it.

    It is crazy to see a black screen, but I can fast-forward and rewind and see the video, or go to the chapter selection icon in the bottom-left and see all the chapter thumbnails.
