Yes, there are a lot of restrictions due to Kinect (some unavoidable), but also, yes, the design can definitely be better on XBOne. The #1 goal for launch was to get the app out on time while implementing the XB360 feature set. But work is in progress to improve the usability - it's just going to take a bit of time given the new platform...

Thanks dude. I am just hoping there is something better than the side scrolling it is driving my crazy lol. I hooked back up my ps3 so I could watch Vudu that way which is a bummer but I do understand. Also when you go into a film in the library to pin it to the home screen it takes you all the way back to the beginning of the library when you go back, it would be nice if it just took you to where you were.

mine continues to get stuck on "authenticating" on my xbox one as well. i don't ever get an error message, it just stays there forever.

how many devices are we allowed? cause i had only 5. i thought it was 8. i'll take one off and see if that helps.

I just continually get the authenticating message. There's no way I'm at my device limit, and if I was I have no way to deactivate those devices. What am I supposed to do? I'm starting to get pretty mad about this. I spent good money on these movies.

You can manage your devices on the website under MANAGE DEVICES once you are logged in with your credentials.

                  Hey Jake,

Can you guys fix the stopping of streaming when a new person is recognized by the XBox One. If I am watching a movie with VUDU and one of my kids comes into the room the Xbox recognizes then and then the VUDU app goes into the "Sign Up" screen.

                  Thanks...

                      Re: Xbox one issue

This may have been addressed, if so I'm sorry.

I'm having a playback issue with the movies on my Xbox One. At first it was stopping every 2-5 min and I'd get a "Sorry VUDU Movies isn't available right now...got to http://www.xbox.com/staus"
I went to the site and it said VUDU was up and running.

                      I power cycled.
Uninstalled the application and reinstalled it.

It played the movie 3/4 of the way then returned to stopping every 2-5 min.

                      Help please.

Could you test your stream again? There may have been brief issue with streaming in your area.

                          Re: Xbox one issue

I am having the problem where I try to sign in it loads for a bit then says there is an error when processing my request. All other apps on my Xbox One work fine and so does Vudu on my other device, but this won't work, and I know I am not over the device limit.
