    That would be correct.

This is probably a dumb question. How do I view the spotlight or new movies to purchase on Apple TV? I have options for My Vudu, Movies On Us, Search, Settings. I scrolled through Movies on us and it seems that's exactly what it is. Are movies not available to purchase through Apple TV?

There was a different (but also Apple TV specific) issue that required it be re-encoded. It should be back up within a few days.

So I guess the Dolby Vision was pulled from Black Panther as well from the VUDU app on Apple TV 4K. Now it just shows as HDR 10

    And Thor?s not freezing today.

Jake - FWIW, the 1.1.1 update did not fix the issue with Thor Ragnarok stopping/freezing a little more than 1 minute into the movie. The occurs just after Thor starts talking and the camera zooms to showing Thor in the cage.

As for HDR10, all of my HDR10 movies played in HDR10, verified by looking at the Sony 940's Picture Adjustment menu.

Out of curiosity, why isn't the 940's HDR10 indicator activated? Or is that some that an TV issue?

Some new DV-capable devices (primarily Apple TV and Sony TVs) decided not to support Profile 4, only Profile 5 (a non-backwards compatible format). We have been re-encoding our UHD catalog in Profile 5, and are over 2/3 complete. Most other non-DV devices can play Profile 4 as SDR, but until we add separate "main10" and DV P5 versions those titles will play as HDX on Apple TV.

This is also the main reason the Apple TV 4K release took a bit longer than expected - we wanted to have enough titles available to make it a good experience for customers, yet not delay it more than necessary!

So Transformers 5, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Lucy, John Wick 2, Power Rangers, and all the ones you mentioned above will not kick our TVs into Dolby Vision mode quite yet. Same with my Nvidia Shield and the Samsung Q9FN I had for a while. It's weird though because all of these movies play in DV on my LG B7 and E6. Don't really know what the difference could be.... Hasn't really been a big deal for me though. The only movie I haven't been able to stream in DV/HDR is Guardians 2. All others play in DV via my Apple TV.
