The Fandango at Home Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Fandango at Home experience. Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Fandango at Home customers with questions and/or problems with their Fandango at Home service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Fandango at Home Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

    I just checked and there is a still a 110 minute HD movie (over 3GB) in my VLC app on my AppleTV from February that still plays (I've rebooted and I'd have to think updated software since then).

    Again, I don't care if it's persistent (I don't need it to last 6 months!), I'm just looking for / suggesting a better experience for people with a slower connection.
    All local data more than 500KB will be volatile. However, if users don't care about persistent or contents can be removed randomly, it is a great feature that we will investigate it.

      Is this still being worked on? Audio just sounds bad on the ATV via the Vudu app.

        On that note has the search issue been acknowledged/replicated? It makes it very difficult for those of us with larger libraries.

          And search doesn't work at all if you are using a Harmony remote.

            That's what I meant as the search issue but didn't realize it had to do specifically with using a harmony remotes. Definitely needs fixing

              Ah gotcha. Yeah the Apple TV detects if the Siri remote isn't being used and gives a different onscreen keyboard. Seems maybe the Vudu devs didn't test with something other than the Siri remote.

                The search issue was fixed for me by deleting the vudu app and then reinstalling. Try that.

                    Yes, I am. Unfortunately, however, after the Apple TV update last night, the search function is NOT working for me again!

                    Vudu, can you please resolve this? I suppose I will try deleting the app and reinstalling again, but obviously we shouldn't need to do that after every ATV update.

                          There are two things missing for me, for the app to be complete.

                          1.) I would like more sorting options for my movies and my tv shows like genre, year, rating for example.

                          2.) Support for the Apple TVs "tv app" and the "up-next" feature.

                            No parental controls make this DOA for me. I was excited to finally get VUDU on my ATV but we have this in our family room. The kids use the tv as well. All my other Vudu devices (Vizio TV, Samsung blu Ray, Roku) have this feature.

                            Please add, or consider a master parental control that extends to all devices like Netflix uses. Thanks.
