It's Vudu that doesn't have this title in 4K. Always check the 4K sheet at: http://4ksheet.com

Vudu slacking on 4K titles so always best to know where to redeem. In this case you should have redeemed at MA to get 4K rights.

Jake, when I resume a movie a 3 second rewind would be awesome. When it stops in the middle of dialogue a step back would be ideal even if I stop the movie.
We should have another release out this week. Thanks for the feedback. We'll be continuously tweaking/adjusting as quickly and frequently as possible going ahead.

Thanks for the update. I see you guys also have HDR on the Sony x700 BD player so now I have 2 ways to get your 4K + HDR movies and I can validate that any errors I get are or are not caused by my router/internet connection.

        You guys are doing great.

Anyone else notice that the picture quality seems better/sharper on the android app versus the one that is preinstalled on the TV?

              That would be 4K/hdr

I should have elaborated more. No, I was referring to the HDX as viewed on the android app.

I just saw that there was a Beta version for older Sony TVs but I can't seem to be able to find and load up that version. Nothing comes up in the Sony TV Google Play search for vudu. I only have the vudu app that Sony has loaded and can't seem to force it to update. How do I try to get the Beta version so I can play video in UHD?

Click the link in the first post from a PC and tell google play to install on your TV device. Then it will work.

soaptrail I went to Google Play on my TV, and Vudu wasn't in there. So I wrote to Vudu Support directly, and here is the response I got:
                      "Hello Tim,
Thank you for contacting Vudu Customer Care. Unfortunately, at the moment we have not release the update to 4.1.37 on some devices. I do apologize the inconvenience this may cause. If you have any further questions please refer to our technicians on the Forum below:

clicking the google play link from a PC in the first post is what worked for me. Then it will tell you if your devices are compatible.

Yeah, I followed that link on my PC (from earlier), and when the VUDU app page came up, and that I saw was "installed." But that's talking about my phone, When I click on the "installed" button it comes up with other choices, but my Sony TV shows grayed out with an error saying it's not compatible. Makes no sense. But here's the REALLY weird thing; when I open Vudu on my phone (Samsung S8), and "cast" a 4K title to my TV, suddenly Vudu on the TV comes up, it plays in 4K, and the correct audio. Really weird.

Worked great for me, I clicked on that Link and it Installed it on my Sony 65X900E UHD TV. It did keep the older app, so I guess I have to delete that one. My only regret is that I didn't do this long ago. Thanks anyway ALC

Well I hope one of them is Hard Wired, and you have plenty of Bandwidth. I know Vudu says all you need is 11+Mbps, but in my experience it's more like 50+Mbps. I have a Fiber Feed Switch with 75Mbps Symmetrical, Hard Wired straight to my Sony UHDTV with no Buffering problems.

OK thanks! Unfortunately, my TV does not show up as available for that yet. I thought I had a 2016 TV but it is a 2015.
