    Thanks Vudu for working with LG and providing us the solution! I just installed the update via USB as well and it is working great! I'm very excited and thankful. I love watching Dolby Vision streaming titles on Vudu.

              Still have issue. The firmware fixes ONLY HDMI ARC sound. Optical and speaker output still get ALL the annoying pops. I have to output optical on my C6P to a LG soundbar and still can't watch UHD because of the annoying pops and glitches.

                Has this issue actually been fixed yet because mine is still having this problem and it makes ALL of my UHD movies unwatchable due to the "popping" sound every 2 seconds...I tried to update on the tv itself and downloaded the USB firmware which also didn't work...any ideas?

                  Thought I would post an update on mine. I found out that the fix only fixes the HDMI/Optical ARC sound mode on my LG C6. It doesn't fix the LG Sound sync mode. Works great after moving to Optical ARC.

                    I am experiencing this exact problem on my 2018 Samsung Q9. My firmware is up to date. Is there a known patch/fix for this TV?

                      I'm having audio drops while attempting to watch my UHD copy of Blade Runner 2049, also on Samsung, has the latest firmware. I've restarted the movie a couple times and have encountered it cutting out in seemingly the same spots.

                        For those with 2018 Samsung audio issue: is this through the TV speakers or to a receiver? And if to a receiver, is this optical out or HDMI ARC?

                            I'm having this issue with several UHD titles (using the Vudu app on my 2018 Samsung 65? Q6F). The audio is choppy and constantly cuts in and out. I?m having issues with a few of the titles I own for example
                            Fury
                            Hacksaw ridge
                            Justice league
                            And more (mainly all my UHD)
                            My TV is connected via HDMI ARC to a Samsung soundbar (model HW-N650 ). when I switch the audio output format to the TV's speaker," the problem goes away. But then I'm put it back on the soundbar it starts again. I played around with all the settings from both my soundbar and tv and I can?t get to go away. I say this form and notice a lot of people are having issues and it seams to be the VUDU app. Is there anything I can do or anything Vudu support can do to fix this.

                              I'm having the problem on a 2018 Samsung Q6 connected to a Vizio sound bar via optical out. The audio is frequently dropping out during a movie. Easily 100 times or more during Blade Runner 2049 in UHD. It also happened during a brief test with The Martian.

                                Same issue on Samsung q7fn, using optical and not hdmi. Watched jumanji yesterday in uhd and had terrible audio clipping/drops. Haven't tried hdx or other movies yet. What's the solution vudu aside from us using another service?
