Vudu update will no longer download My Movies

I installed the Vudu update today to my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and now I can't download any of my movies. This was rumored to be the fix that allowed SD card storage but all I get is a screen that says retreiving movie information then it says preparing under the movie picture and download reappears. If there is a way to uninstall this update I would love to know how? Or if there is a fix to this please let me know. I have tried a dozen, at least, different titles and the same problem occurs. The only thing I haven't tried is to uninstall the application, (because it would delete the movies I have downloaded), and re-install the app. If there is a fix to this please let me know.
    Thanks,
    Paul

Ok, I didn't hear from anyone at Vudu but I FOUND THE FIX! It's similar to the one I had to use to fix disc to digital on my laptop, but easier. I deleted all of my downloaded Vudu movies on my tablet. Then I uninstalled the Vudu application. I installed it again and lo an behold it's now working!!!! The first movie that I downloaded defaulted to my SD storage card not the internal memory so YIPEE!!!! I guess it's time to buy that 64gb card that I have been eyeing for since LocN said they were working on the SD card storage issue.

I am glad it's fixed and delighted that it finally stores on the external card. Vudu staff please feel free to give me all the credit for this fix.
    Regards,
    Paul

Thanks Paul. In the last upgrade we provide support for external storage. It doesn't have the storage migration so the app may need to be removed and re-install to have the right configuration for external storage.

So where does one find the option for external storage? Every time I try a download it goes right to the tablet (Samsung 10.1 tab2)

It is auto-select. If you have SD card installed, a fresh installation would go to the card.

            Redtater,

Check out the fix that I figured out in this post. It worked great for me. There is no option to select internal storage or SD card it just defaults to the card. You will know it's working once you un-install re-install by checking storage in your settings menu. Just remember I deleted all my downloaded movies first, I don't know if that's necessary, but I didn't want the movies taking up internal space but being invisible and un-deletable. So far my 64gb SD card has thirteen movies on it and I still have 28 gb left. I know Samsung says 32 is maximum but the 64 works great and is fully functional. I'm a happy videofile!

Thank you Paul. You shouldn't have to delete movie first. Uninstall should also clean up all of the downloaded movie as it's in appdata of the VUDU app.

Thanks all....I was looking for the option of either the tablet or the sd card. Glad to hear that the default is to the sd card. It's working like a charm, now that I know what I am doing...... but it looks like at 64 gb card is in my future.

I tried deleting and uninstalling, still saving to the tablet. Any ideas?

                  Thanks

Please check if the card was formatted and can be read with other app on Android. If you still have issue, please let us know make, model and Android version of your device so we can try to reproduce.

                    Thanks,
