The Fandango at Home Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Fandango at Home experience. Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc).     They really should have sent an email out about the issue and given an estimate of when it would be resolved.

    I was getting annoyed with all of the buffering issues - there was no error message indicating that the drive was full. I was ready to toss the thing in the trash ... very frusterating.

    One of the big benefits was being able to purchase a rental during the day and having it downloaded for viewing in the evening...

              Can we at least get a way to archive some of our purchased media up to the cloud?
              That seems to be gone in the new system. There is no way I am using 231Gb of space. I can only rent one movie at a time.

              This is costing Vudu money.. You guys know that right?
              Was a great box until the new software!

                Wondering if there has been any new update for this harddrive bug, I have almost nothing on the harddrive yet it shows that I have 217GB of space used, are we getting hung out to dry?

                  Could it be reversed? I just checked my boxes last night. They all showed 232GB available even though I had it full of movies with the old version. When I go to the movies I own they seem to be played from the hard drive even if I select streaming. So they still seem to be on the hard drive even though it's reporting the drive as empty.

                      Dan Hatman,

                      Another update from you and VUDU is in order. I just checked my unit and it still shows the hard drive to be full. This problem was first identified and reported shortly after the software update, which was approximately, October 13. I would assume by now that if the problem is going to be addressed that VUDU could provide an estimated date of completion. What are the procedures to escalate the issue so that it receives higher priority?

                          I apologize for the update a day late. After speaking with our engineering team, it seems that an update should be released shortly. I was not given a specific day, but it seems that they are making quite a bit of progress.

                          I do apologize for the length of time you have had to wait. The team has been extremely busy trying to bring new options to the table for us. Such as PS3, Boxee and Panasonic. We do not plan to leave our STB owners in the dark, we do appreciate your patience.

                            Thanks Dan for the update. It's been a couple of exciting weeks for VUDU and new devices and I for one really appreciate that VUDU is keeping the dedicated VUDU boxes updated.

                              A little after 9pm EST tonight while watching a movie on the STB, an update was pushed to my box from Vudu land. While it totally interrupted the movie, it was actually kind of cool to watch. It went through a download, install and reset phase, with a number of reboots thrown it. I'm sure it upgraded or fixed something although sadly a fix for the hd issue was not part of the upgrade.

                                Can we get an update on this issue? My harddrive is full with a grand total of only three owned movies on it. I can no longer download to the drive, and therefore will not be renting from Vudu until this issue if fixed. Thanks.
