    So far I am not too impressed. We have entered our Disney Rewards code for a TON of our Disney movies and ONLY ONE was loaded on Vudu for us to stream. I was hoping for several of them to be available, especially the first Thor and Captain American movies. This hasn't done anything to increase the number of Disney movies we can stream from Vudu.

      You will only get a digital copy if the reward code came with an edition of the movie that contained an iTunes digital copy to begin with. Most editions did not, unless you purchased a 3D/digital copy combo pack.

        If you have Thor and Captain America in itunes they should port over to Vudu if both are linked to DMA.

          I don't use iTunes and will never use it again after they screwed up my last computer. Still, DMA falls very short in my opinion.

            Speaking of iTunes, I'm starting to believe that it is best not to use them at all as well. I purchased an HD movie from them (Carrie 1976) on 10/1/14. This week I noticed that it was no longer on my list of purchased movies. After many phone calls to them, they said that it was up to the content provider. In this case that is MGM. I called MGM and they said that once you bought the movie, it should remain in your account for perpetuity (just like the physical disk would be). Now MGM is saying that iTunes was correct in removing it from my account because they no longer have the license rights to sell it. I'm saying that they did have the rights back when I purchased it. In any event, I no longer have the movie on my purchased movies. I hope that is not the case with U/V or Vudu because I wouldn't want to find out one day that one or more of my movies is no longer available because the studio didn't give another vendor the rights to sell it. It should be noted that they did give me a refund but I wanted the movie rather that the refund but had no choice.

              That is exactly what UV's critics have been saying -- that this is a scam for the studios to control our content and take it at will.

              So far I've seen no evidence of this with UV. Some movies that I bought that are no longer available for sale (such as Al Adamson's Dracula vs Frankenstein) are still in my collection.

                Not true I redeemed many titles that were bundle packs and 3D versions that after redeeming the code found they didn't come with the digital version. Meet the Robinsons 3D had no digital movie but the code still redeemed. The Princess and the Frog and Sleeping Beauty were bundle packs with no digital version of the movie just Bluray and DVD and points to redeem. Cars and Ratatouille were bundle packs and no digital streaming version either. Called Disney on Tuesday and was told even tho some movies were sold with 3D and bundle packs unless it specifically says digital copy on the package then it doesn't come with it. Was bummed about that because I paid extra for 3D versions and bundle packs just to get the digital copy only to find some don't come with it and Disney could care less.

                  Unfortunately, you need to look at what is advertised on the packaging. If it says that it comes with a digital copy, then the DMR code will give a digital copy through DMA. If it does not advertise a digital copy such as the following versions of the movies you listed:

                  then please understand why they are not there. Out of the four movies you mentioned, only two of them had other releases -- in different packaging -- that came with digital copies.

                    I know but I bought 18 Disney movies at one time and just didn't look close enough assuming that since five of my 3D titles had digital copies figured Meet the Robinsons would. Same with all the bundle packs I bought. Even tho Disney CS saw I redeemed 18 titles in one day and 80% had digital copies I thought they would just say yeah you picked up the wrong version by mistake so we'll at least give you the digital copies as it shows as 3D and bundle packs in the redemption list but Disney being greedy said nothing they would do.

                      I understand what you're saying but I hope you realize no code exists for Ratatouille or Meet the Robinsons. Regardless of how many movies you bought at one time it doesn't change that fact. There is no reason they should have given you those titles just because of the quantity of their movies that you decided to buy at one time. I own those movies, and many others do, and I can't see Disney giving us digital copies of those movies just because we hoped, wished, or expected that they would come with digital copies. As long as you understand why you didn't get them, and learned that in the future you will need to look at the packaging to see what contents are included, then everything should be good. You need to understand why they cannot just give you these digital copies -- it opens up the floodgates for everyone to complain about everything and get stuff that clearly wasn't advertised on the packaging.

                        This is exactly why DMA's next big step needs to be some sort of D2D program, even if they end up charging more than UV D2D (not surprising for Disney, especially if Vault titles are included as they should be). IMO, based on my past experience with both Vudu's own D2D and the "D2D-esque" program at the now-defunct Disney Movies Online site (arguably the only way some Vault titles are available in DMA), Disney needs to offer both programs; Vudu D2D is much buggier than the DMO option, but the DMO option won't be available for most Touchstone & Hollywood titles (whether they end up in DMA or get a separate KeyChest-powered sharing site).

                          Well, I still have 2 movies that imported from Vudu to DMA but refuse to import over into Disney Movie Rewards. The rest of my Disney collection synced from Vudu to DMA to DMR, just not those 2.


                          Customer service had me unlink and relink the accounts, didn't help.

                            What do you mean specifically by import into DMR?
                            EST direct digital purchases (from VUDU, iTunes, Google Play) should show up in your DMR list of points and the "My Collection" section, but code redemptions in itunes or Vudu won't. DMA is where your full list of movies resides, not DMR.

                            What is the background of the 2 movies and if they are in DMA what more if anything are you looking for besides possible DMR points?
                            If they are from Vudu purchases, maybe they can give you the points if you send a copy or screenshot of your purchase receipt.
