Now that customers are adding more content either via Ultraviolet or directly via vudu more problems are emerging beyond the issue of vanishing movies and UV content not porting at all.

Existing content should never disappear simply from adding new content.

If I had to guess... It seems likely that last Monday evening or Tuesday morning some new code went live, whether it is on the uvvu end or the vudu end remains to be seen.

Now that a problem has been identified, the logical step would be to roll back whatever change(s) had been made, so hopefully either vudu or uvvu can make that happen as soon as possible.
If it was on UVVUs end, wouldn't my Flixster, MGO and Cinemanow accounts have issues? Because, they're linked to the same UV as vudu, and they're fine.

      Re: Missing Movies

I only have about 20 movies missing from my library list; however, it appears they are still accessible for viewing in VUdU. I can do a search for the missing movie, then VUDu allows me to watch it. Has anyone else attempted to bring up their missing movies that way?

Mine don't show that I own them.

I did notice something interesting...all of my missing movies were acquired via D2D on 10/24/13. I'm willing to bet that if I add another UV title, that the movie that would disappear would be from the remaining five titles converted at that same time. I don't know if this would help track anything or not, but the other movies that were acquired at that same time were:

        Scott Pilgrim
        Superman 2
        Taxi Driver
        The Thing
        X-Men First Class

No, I'm only given the option to buy them again.

            Re: Missing Movies

Still got nothing back that went missing. THANKFULLY, nothing else disappeared when I added something. I just think this is completely RIDICULOUS. We worked hard on our collections, and we should loose the movies we added. I'm afraid this issue will be ignored

Just added two new movies from flixster, and one older title disappeared from VUDU.

It seems to be on UV and not Vudu... My Cinemanow account shows 0 movies on my UV collection and when I go to the UV site, it shows only 10.

Sadly I am also missing 180 movies. Everything consistent with previous posters. Hoping this issue is resolved soon.

Everybody else posting here has the movies in their UV and not vudu. You sound like you have a different situation. My vudu? 2500. My it should be over 2700. I've listed what titles are missing. They are in my UV. My sub accounts that my family members utilize? Missing a thousand. Movies in UV, not vudu.

I didn't think I was missing anything but just noticed that Goldeneye is missing from my vudu account. It's still on myuv. I redeemed the Pierce Brosnan James Bond set through Flixter because I wanted the movies unbundled on Vudu. The other Pierce Brosnan James Bond movies are still showing up on my Vudu.

That same happened to me, but vudu never fixed it. I ended up just buying Goldeneye again from Best Buy on Black Friday and I redeemed the code thru vudu then I finally had all the Bond movies again. And now I have 2 copies of Goldeneye in myuv. Also right now, because of the 100's movies that disappeared from my vudu, Skyfall is one of the missing. So now I don't have all the Bond movies again. Going thru my account history, the titles missing were from a couple years ago when I began collecting digital copies. God I hope this gets fixed. That's a lot of money we are talking about!!!

Be sure to check your tv show's individual seasons too... I lost my entire Breaking Bad series, but didn't realize it at first because I had added the free bonus content so the series thumbnail still showed.

To be safe, I am avoiding buying and redeeming until this is resolved.

Yup, I lost seasons 1 & 2 of Shameless, season 1 of Person of Interest, and season 1 of Arrow.

Goldeneye is also missing from my Vudu library. I redeemed it on 9/16/15 on Flixster as part of the Pierce Brosnan pack so it would appear unbundled on Vudu. The title still shows in my Vudu "Balance & History", but it is not in "My Movies." The other three movies from the Pierce Brosnan set appear in "My Movies."

There needs to be a better, timely response Vudu about the resolution.

It sucks that so many people are having this issue, but it's a relief to know that it isn't just me. I am currently missing around 400 titles. I just discovered this tonight, so I can't give any feedback yet regarding titles. Hopefully this will get resolved soon.
