Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc).     i just bought the 3d steelbook from Bestbuy yesterday and it didn't redeem in 3d. I contacted Vudu and after about 3 emails. They treated me with alot of disrespect. Told me to take a picture of the ticket and receipt and send it to them (which i did) and after taking all that time they sent me an email saying I just need to contact sony. With no contact information on how to do so.

    It's been a while now but as I recall, they just asked for a picture of the disk and the U/V code along with proof of purchase. Maybe they're getting stricter now?

    Were you able to get the 3D version added for The Amazing Spider-Man? If so, how? I am going back and forth with VUDU support on this.

    I redeemed my code from the Target Exclusive 3D Blu-ray using the 3D redemption page on VUDU and I got the 2D version, so I submitted a VUDU support ticket and got this response:

    "This was a promotion made available through Marvel Studios. In order to receive another promo code for the 3D version since that is what you wanted, you will have to contact them directly. Their website address is marvel.com."

    I re-read the posts on this and it looked like everyone that was getting the 3D version was redeeming their code from the Best Buy Steelbook Exclusive 3D Blu-ray and so I opened my copy and redeemed my code once again using the 3D redemption page. It didn't add the 3D version. Instead, now under Saved Promotions in my Account Information, it is showing "Sony - UV eCopy - The Amazing Spiderman (3D)" with a "Retrieve" button. I click on the "Retrieve" button and it goes to a page that says "Get your FREE digital content" with a button that says "Go To My VUDU". But it doesn't do anything and "Sony - UV eCopy - The Amazing Spiderman (3D)" remains under Saved Promotions.

    I updated my VUDU support ticket with the above information and got this response:

    "Thank you for contacting VUDU Customer Care. I am seeing the the partially redeemed promotion on your account an it shows that it will be the Sony UV eCopy once you finish the redemption process."

    How do I get the 3D version that everyone else seems to have received?

    So did I and I had to call Vudu to have them give me a new code for the 3D version. I'm still waiting to get a code for the 3D version of Resident Evil: Retribution as well.

    stinks I redeemed my Amazing Spiderman 3D Bluray code on VuDu and didn't get the 3D version only got the HDX SD/HD copy... I want the 3D version :'(

    Thanks, Well it's a mystery. It's strange that I don't see the 3D ASM in my wishlist on my 2D TVs but it shows in my wishlist on my PC.

    Also strange, when I search for 3D ASM on 2 Vudu devices it could not find it.

    Question? I know you need a 3DTV to view a 3D movie, no brainer, but do you need a 3D TV to add a 3D movie to your Vudu locker?

    I have the 3D Amazing Spider-Man under "Saved Promotions" however, the "Retrieve" button is not adding the 3D movie to "My Vudu" locker. I show the 3D Amazing Spider-Man in my Wishlist on PC but it does not show in wishlist on 2D HDTVs.

    Looks like I can't add it until I complete the 3D chain? I do have a 3D BD Player and V1.4 HDMI cable but my HDTVs are 2D and V1.2 HDMI.

    I just thought "My Vudu" locker would show I own it. Oh Well!

    I did the same today for 3D and got nothing. I contacted Vudu support and was told:

    Go to "Account Info", strolled down to "Saved Promotions". I had:

    Sony - UV eCopy - The Amazing Spiderman (3D)

    With a "Retreive" button.

    I have clicked Retrieve at least 5 times but it does not add the movie to "My Vudu".

    The Amazing "Disappearing Reappearing" Spiderman

    The disappearing & reappearing act would be more expected with Flixster, my movies on Flixster disappear and re-appear on a daily basis. Gave up keeping track ages ago.

    So far, the 3D & the HDX/SD versions of Amazing Spiderman have remained in my VUDU locker, the 3D is not showing up in the UV locker or the Flixster locker (but then per above Flixster is just not reliable).

    I did discover, to my delight, that the newer Panasonic Blu Ray machine (DMP-BDT 320), does have the firmware upgrade to view 3D on VUDU, a pleasant surprise. Now have a reason to purchase some 3D from VUDU.
