I do not know for sure, but I would suspect it is the full season you will be getting.

For a Season Pass, you just get the episodes that have aired.

You got a season who's episodes have all aired in 2012 and you have all episodes on the physical media.

Sometimes Vudu only offers all episodes when they are released on physical media. Other times, it is as soon as they are aired.

For instance, I got the season pass of "Monsters vs. Aliens" for my children. Only $25 for HDX copies. Pretty good for a scheduled 25 episodes ($1.00 per episode). Currently, there are six that have aired and available for my children to watch. A new one is added after it airs on broadcast TV.

WalMart has Lego NinjaGo season #1 & season #2 on DVD with UV redemptions. I looked at them last week and you do get the whole season. I would have to imagine you will get the whole season too. Let us know otherwise.

    thx.

Has anyone seen Identity Thief pre-order in store yet? If so at what price for the blu-ray.

Yeah...I was also kinda disappointed when I read that parts 1 & 2 were only rentals at the store the other day. I was all set to pick up the pre-order but I have no use for watching the rentals since I own the blu-rays already. So I'll just do the D2D at some point with the first 4 and just pick up part 5 down the road.

I have to say I am very disappointed to learn this. I was absolutely set on being the new movie, even though every tells me how bad it is, because I would be gettting the killer deal of 1,2, and the combo pack of 4. Well, no need to buy it now if they are only rentals. Watch these Pre-Order numbers plummet once the word gets out.

Yeah 30 day rental window, with 24 hours as of initial viewing. It is very disappointing, I actually purchased Die Hard 3 specifically because I thought I would get 1/2 and already own 4 :/

I picked up the Die Hard Pre Order but I didn't read the packaging very well. Die Hard 1 and 2 are only rentals. I'm kinda bummed. Oh well.

    Definitely just rentals. How lame!
Hope this isn't their new trend.

There are two codes in the Pre-Order. One for A Good Day to Die Hard digital copy and shipment of the movie. The second code gives the rentals of Die Hard and Die Hard 2. Since I already own those through D2D I didn't redeem that code.

Wal-Mart is better about telling you what you'll get but Amazon and others don't often confirm the UV quality, in some case they don't get more specific than "digital" which could be iTunes, and then you don't know the iTunes quality. Likewise for 3D titles only a VERY small handful give you 3D HDX so you HAVE to buy it on Vudu.

If you want to make sure you get an HDX Vudu quality (be it Vudu only or UV) buying it from Vudu direct is the easier, but often more expensive route, or only (IE most 3D) option.

I do agree in general. In my case, I do not think any of my EST purchases would of cost more then the individual titles in BluRay Combo packs.

Also, there is what is known as a "value add" Vudu offers. Just like a convenience store can charge you $3 for a bag of potato chips that you may be able to buy for less money and in a larger quantity at the back-lot warehouse club, they sell a lot of them due to the value add of convenience.

So too with Vudu. It may in some cases cost a few dollars more, but it is awfully convenient to make HDX entertainment purchases from pushing my Roku remote button twice while sitting on my couch.
