Sounds like a good idea. I never even thought I PM'ing any of them, just thinking they went though the forums. I had heard before that the Forum Group was unrelated and not associated with the actual Vudu side. Who knows. I'll just need to wait and see if I can find a rep to PM. Thanks.

I don't think Vudu Customer Care is understanding the situation. This doesn't sound like a studio redemption issue. This was the next response I got from them. Almost sounds rude.

"Hello and thank you for contacting Vudu Customer Care,
Thank you for contacting us regarding this issue. I am more than happy to assist you in this matter.

Again, we cannot upgrade that movie and reinburst you for the difference between SD and HDX. You will need to contact the movie studio regarding this issue to see if they have a more permanent solution . They can be contacted at 1-323-956-5000 Monday-Friday 9am-6pm.
Thank you and have a nice day!

      VUDU Customer Care"

It's not even a UV code redemption. It's a wal-mart / vudu pre-order. They don't even address my point that everyone else on the same pre-order got HDX while I got SD. Just over and over, we can't do anything.

Ha Ha. I know. Between the two Vudu rep's there was a lot of grammar mistakes. I actually corrected several in the first few posts but stop spending the time after it seems they didn't want to even present themselves at being helpful or even apologetic or understanding. Besides I'm sure I make my fair amount of mistakes as well.

Not that it is any real consolation, but you will receive an HDX UV code in your preorder physical copy that you need to redeem through the studio.

doesn't help you with the Sleepy hollow code I am afraid.

Hope they get their act together. Took 2weeks after release date to get my physical copies of True blood season 5 and it was sent out 4 weeks ago.

I do agree that Vudu is not the source of the problem, nor the organization that can remedy it.

Sadly, the digital copy redemption process is still a relatively new product offering for many studios distribution departments.

As "nice" as the good folks at Vudu may be, they need to pay their electric bill and can not make a practice of giving away products for free.

In my estimation, they actually went the extra mile by providing you the contact information for the studio.

Keep at it. I had to with a copy of HP DH#2 and after about ten days back and forth with WB customer support, I got an SD copy converted into HD in my UV locker.

When that was done, the Vudu copy became HDX, but this was not anything Vudu could help me with.

I had to take the matter up with the Studio. Vudu is just reflecting what is in your UV locker.

BTW, I have "Sleepy Hollow" also. I have the HDX version via a D2D DVD->HDX upgrade. Good movie and worth the effort.

Does anyone remember what $9.99 blu-ray had the vudu code for Man on Fire with it?
