So depending on the movie that you choose, for SD it could but up to $2.99 and then for HD it could be up to $5.99?
Even though its only $1 on each it still ends up costing more than Walmart's. I know for choice wise to get the movie in your account if Walmart-Vudu didn't have it. It's another option. But is it really better than Walmart's D2D ?

Why is there no Blu-Ray support? Probably because it's still in Beta? What about people who don't have a BD drive? Most of my titles are Blu so it's useless at this point

According to another forums you can only do 25 titles total. Hopefully that's just for the beta.

Re: CinemaNow and Rovi launch beta at home D2D service

I tried to convert different movies that are the CinemaNow list but it keeps thinking they are a burned copies when I put in DVD's I bought new at Best Buy, Walmart, Target, ect.

I have software installed on my computers called UltraISO that lets you mount an ISO and burn ISO's so I wonder if the CinemaNow program sees the driver for UltraISO and is thinking the DVD's I put into my computer is really an ISO. I may install Windows onto a spare hdd to find out if that is the problem but that may be a couple of weeks tell I get Windows installed all of the way.

Well i tried on my Mac and out of the 5 dvds, it would let me convert 2 (Pulp Fiction and Vertical Limit) to HD for $5, 1 was identified as a burned copy (Snatch) and the other two were identified as not able to be converted even though they were on the list and the movie poster shows up with a UV logo next to it (Reservoir Dogs and Dusk till Dawn).

Also the program tells me my library is empty when the website shows i have 144 movies.

This is not working for me. I installed the app on my Windows 7 x64 HTPC and there is no way for me to log in. I went ahead and attempted a D2D but all discs were still not available just like on the Mac.

First things first, how/where do you log in at?

from the program you download. click on disk to digital. It will either confirm or deny. It will then ask you to log into your cinemanow account to pay. I'm using windows 8 - google chrome and done 5 so far. 3 were fine. You must check to see if hd is available as their program does not check v.s their site. If you don't you end up with sd in your uv account since if that is all they offer that is all your getting. I've not had the burnt copy error yet.

Guess we'll have to wait and see because that can be a deal breaker.

Hope Vudu is hot on their tails with their own D2D @Home service. Would love to convert some of my BDs to Vudu/UV but it must be for unlimited discs.

I haven't got my libary to load from there either. What i'm doing is checking my ultraviolet account and clicking on cinemanow to see if it goes there and what its giving. That's the best you can hope for when your library won't load. All of mine have came to vudu in the format what uv states it was given in. HDX or SD. For the ones that didn't work out cinemanow gave a code refund.
