I did the same with HP Deathly Hallows #2. It was SD, but after 10 days of back and forth, I got it upgraded to HD in my UV and now my Vudu has it has an HDX title instead of just SD. I just had to keep at it with Warren Bros support.

I kept going back and forth with Warner Bros and either I wore the person down or got someone who actually knows how to do their job or is trained. All they did was add the movies to my ultraviolet account like they do when if you lost/never got the Ultraviolet code with the Blu-ray purchase.

The Green Lantern got added in HD without me asking about that title.

I just got this spectacular response to the e-mail I sent in to WB...

        Hello,

Digital Copy is not available in the format that you requested. This offer is good for a Standard Definition Digital Copy of the Main Feature.

Warner Home Video is committed to offering Digital Copy as widely as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot provide digital copies of our films in every media format for a variety of logistical reasons.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. We appreciate your feedback and continued support of Warner Home Video releases.

I'm completely mystified as to why these early WB titles are not at least available Disc-to-Digital by now here on Vudu and CinemaNow...

Still haven't received a response from them again. However Universal just upgraded my Cowboys & Aliens to HDX. Good thing it wasn't working with Vudu D2D at home or else I would have just gone ahead and converted it as they told me at first it wasn't available in HD through the digital copy.

Horrible bosses upgraded automatically but nothing has changed on green lantern or the last 2 Harry potter movies.

I just got the same response with one of my tickets. I put in a few tickets so we will see where those go.

Does anyone know if Universal will upgrade Digital (UV) copies received with their movies from SD to HD?

I was just able to redeem a second code for J. Edgar through Flixster. I was given the Blu Ray version as a gift a while back and was never able to get that second code to redeem because I already had a SD code in my account. Maybe warner is finally coming around to the fact that we really don't wan't to be stuck with SD copies because we either originally had a DVD copy or they stupidly gave us SD copies with Blu Rays.

I had 2 Universal titles that were SD when I redeemed them, Cowboys & Aliens & Hop. I sent Universal tickets for both. They gave me a new code for Hop to redeem it in HD but said C&A wasn't available for an HD upgrade. Then a few days ago C&A was upgraded by Universal to HD on my UV account so worth a try to contact them.

Thanks for the update. Couple months ago I tried to add HD version where I had SD versions and both failed. Today I was able to upgrade Project X via Flixster. Wrath Of The Titans failed with error "70101: Max authorization code use exceeded".

So I just had Warner tell me that the movies aren't available in the format that I was asking about. I swear that WB is gonna kill ultraviolet single handedly with their horrible customer service and lack of knowledge of the very service they helped start (and currently hold back). I linked them to this thread and lets hope it gets me the HD UV files like I should have had from the beginning.

                            Score

Finally got the hd version of green lantern after numerous attempts to redeem the code from the 3D copy, my sister redeemed a sd dvd months earlier under my flixster account and flixster would allow the 3d/hd code to go through the redemption but not acknowledge the redemption showing only a sd copy on uv&vudu.

Just tried the code again, went through got an error message but vudu is showing a hdx&sd same for uvvu.

Flixster finally updated all of my Blu-ray UV purchases to HD. Unfortunately I had already paid ($5/movie on CinemaNow in some cases) to upgrade all but one movie to HD, Journey 2 which isn't available to upgrade anywhere. Oh well at least I got that one now.

I haven't had any upgraded yet, but they have fixed several of the promotional movies that had incorrect ALID's. The Notebook last week, and today, Carriers. Anyone else have any fixed? Too bad I went ahead and purchased The Notebook.
