    I guess I should clarify...

It will not show in your Vudu listing if the link to UVVU.com is not linked. Only your purchased content will show in Vudu. Yes, you can go to another streaming provider and the content will be there.

Checked this morning and over 50 of my movies were gone from Vudu. Went to check the UV link on Vudu and said the link was invalid? Not sure how that happened. I know on yesterday, I unlinked and re-linked Flixster for a separate reason, but I didn't mess with any of the other links.

Made me pretty nervous, but I re-linked and all is well.

Yes, I didn't say anything about shared accounts or 3rd party services connected to UV. Simpy that once a UV title is added at uvvu.com, it will always be there unless manually deleted. I said "your UV locker", not "your Vudu locker" or any other service. You are both correct, though, about the other aspects of both shared accounts and 3rd party services connected to UV. I guess it's good to clarify since some people may not know the difference between the UV library vs. a Vudu library, etc.

That is correct in a way. UV tittles that are shared are are licensed to the Main Account.

Once you merge UV accounts and share, those tittles bought will always stay with the main account. So if you leave, those tittles you bought while you shared/were merged, will be lost to that main account.

That's correct as far as it goes: Once a movie's license is uploaded from a provider to UV, it stays there even after unlinking. However, any licenses downloaded from UV to that provider will disappear after unlinking; I've had that happen when unlinking other UV providers. (DMA, per its terms of service, will work differently; after unlinking, existing licenses will be preserved in both directions.)

I shows up on your account as long as they are linked. If they are de-linked, then their content will not show up.

Do you think that I need to check other providers (CinemaNow, Flixster) to see if I lost my link there? I had used these providers to build some of my library, but once the titles were pushed upstream to my UV account, it shouldn't matter. Right?

Thanks again for all the knowledge that is out there!

The only tittles that will show up are your UV tittles. Therefore anything that does not have the UV logo when you purchase a tittle will only show up through that provider which ever it may be, in example Vudu, Cinema Now, Flixter, Target Ticket, MGO, Sony, Nook, Kaledeisape, etc...

No you don't need to check. All of these providers are separate entities and have nothing to do with each other, other than sharing UV tittles though the Ultra Violet service which is operated by the Digital Entertainment Content Ecosystem (DECE) LLC, a Delaware limited liability company located in the United States.

Noticed that issue with my main account. Went into my account and found that my Ultraviolet link was invalid. Relinked my Ultraviolet account and all worked fine. Don't know why it happened, but glad it re-linked without any issues.

I went and checked the other UVVU accounts linked to my Vudu account all of them were alright. Hopefully, you will be able to re-link them without any issue.

That is odd. Vudu as far as I understand would not be able to delete UV accounts. They are separate entities as far as I understand. Maybe they just removed the links to your UV account.

    Hello,
At the time of trouble I had 3 Vudu accounts linked with the same Ultra Violet account. And I guess someone had the bright idea to limit the amount of Vudu accounts that were linked with an Ultra Violet account to only 2.

Whoever was the cause of it... Vudu or UV or the magical digital fairy we'll never know.

I sent emails to both Vudu and UV at the time (by way of support), Vudu right away said it was not their doing and that I should contact UV, which I did, after a few e-mails and a long while they finally resolved the issue and am now able to link more than 2 Vudu accounts to the UV account.

UV has a limit of 6 accounts which can contribute to the same library to be shared, of which I use only 4 right now, and all 4 have their own individual Vudu accounts which contribute the the one library that we all share.
