Re: Disc to Digital Title List

In the General Discussion forum there are new updates to the "Wolverine" thread regarding the availability of Wolverine Extended Cut. Just for grins, I checked it on the Vudu's D2D page, and sure enough, it's there. It's not on Fatty's list.

Of course, the disk, being newer, is not recognized by Vudu-to-Go, but it is on the dropdown list.

From this, I'm assuming that other titles may have been added to D2D eligibility.

    Fatty,
Can you please run an update to the list?

    Thanks

I'm not a developer but I work in the tech world. Just stick to giving feedback on the user experience and resist the urge to share your theories on what went wrong - they just come off as unfounded personal attacks.
No, it is simply bad code that wasn't tested before they went live. As long as we've had to live with the problems, I think some "personal attacks" are to be expected. Anyway, that is my feedback...their software has both bugs and bad design that STILL needs to be fixed. Many of us have invested A LOT of money in Vudu and I for one feel like they owe it to their customer to give us the best product possible. Their product is much more than just digital copies of movies. It's also their software. They are a technology company and their software is in part what they are selling.

Unfortunately we seem to be losing more titles than adding.

FYI: There's a new version of the VuduToGo Software. Not sure what's been changed.

Last time there was an update to the Vudu To Go app a while back I found a lot of title the previously did not work (but should have), suddenly did. Anyone find the same with this update?

Me either. Welcome kit email was a great idea. I have five households linked to my UV library, with mine being the sixth. Once every blue moon, the friends need to unlink / link the UV creds to their vudu account again.

If anyone is having trouble, it is important to remember that a CC is needed on file to comply with MPAA age restrictions. If your friends are having trouble, make sure they have a CC on their Vudu profile.

We spent four hours last night fighting with it and when we clicked the link in the email to accept the invitation it kept breaking the Vudu link to our UltraViolet link. Technology is supposed to make our lives easier and is intended to be easy to do, but linking accounts AND trying to work with a large collection of movies is....well, terrible is the only word I can come up with.

If they want to use vudu, it's even easier. Just send an invitation.
Obviously there is more to it than just sending an invitation. Like I said, the accept invitation doesn't work.
