If the program misidentifies a Blu-ray as a DVD and you pay the higher amount, you can ask Vudu support to credit you the difference if you submit a photo of the Blu-ray. So far they've been very good about accommodating those requests, but there's no guarantee.

Another issue just came to mind. I have the extended version of The Da Vinci Code...175 minutes. Both versions are available on VUDU but it will only give the theatrical version. I ended up getting it but with it only being 149 minutes, I'm loosing 26 extra minutes of story line. It would be nice of that would get fixed and if someone would swap my copy to the extended, unrated version.

I can send pics of any of the discs or cases/barcodes if you need them.

    Thanks

I wish I would have looked for this thread before. I have seen my far share of issues. For instance The Matrix blu- ray shows up as a DVD. I know this is an old issue but I bit the bullet and paid extra. I have converted Gladiator and I have the extended edition on blu ray but it gave me the Theatrical edition instead. I was going to convert the Kingdom of heaven on blu ray but I have the directors cut and even though its available it shows up as the Theatrical and I would drive me nuts to loose 50 minutes of movie so I have not done it. I know the first Sniper movie on dvd wont recognize the disc. I believe Blade Trinity will not recognize it on blu ray either. I enter in the title of the movie but nothing ever seems to get fixed. The only movies I have ever seen get fixed where the underworld movies. They would all show up as underworld 3. That issue has been fixed. I have 271 digital movies and I have probably converted over 200 of them threw vudu. I have 503 movies on blu ray alone. All i'm saying is that if we could get these issues fixed, vudu could be making more money.

Oh ya....clear and present danger blu ray, shows up as a dvd.

Hope we can get these fixed

The Blu-Ray version of Desperado (Sony 1995) with Antonio Banderas is not recognized on the Vudu Disc to Digital in home or Disc to Digital Store (Walmart). Only the non blu-Ray is recognized.
