They probably assume that by "pushing" D2D in store where disc are supposed to be stamped that it will stop some of that. I've noticed that releases 2013 (when digital rights included really seemed to take off) and forward are less likely to accept D2D at home. I've actually never had a problem with in store D2D, but I admit I appear to be one of the lucky ones. I think the thing we need to remember is that Vudu WANTS to sell us the content, D2D and otherwise, but they're really at the mercy of the studios as to what and how content is sold.
It's one thing if the release came with a UV copy but many releases don't even come with a digital code thus those discs should not be an issue.

I really think the issue is with Vudu's front end and not the GraceNote database. My Oppo will correctly identify discs that the Vudu D2D app will not (either error out or can't recognize).

I never use to have trouble and now lately all they get is request time-outs and these are the same stores I have been using to convert my discs. These clerks know how to do it, the software is just not letting them And lots of people buy used discs that the uv have already been used and pay to make them digital.

Please add any movies that you're unable to convert with the In-Home D2D program to this thread. If the movie has been listed by someone else, please do not list it again. In order for us to see the mapping issue, you will have had to of tried the movie and received the error message previously.

    Please list the following:

-Movie that you entered into your disc drive.
-Movie that VUDU To Go Recognized instead.
*If the disc is unreadable, we may not be able to update it.

A forum moderator may reach out to you if you're forum email address does not match your VUDU email address.
I have about 60-70 movies that Vudu at home has failed to convert, but over 500 that converted properly.

Is it possible for VUDU to post an updated list of all the movies they are aware of problems with so I do not have to re-insert or search for all 70 movies in this thread? Thanks.

    My recent issues:

    1. Norbit Blu-ray recognized as DVD so I got charged $5 instead of $2.

    2. System did not recognize eligible title "The Last Dragon" on DVD.

I am having almost zero success with converting new blu Ray movies to digital as most say that there is a problem recognizing the disc. Is this a common problem? Is there something I'm missing? Any and all help is appreciated!
That is a common problem and even older releases which use to work are now starting to come up with that error.
